Ophiuchus.. Do any of you buy into the 13th sign?

If so why isn't it on here then? Anyhow wouldn't it just figure...
You know the saying "Born under a bad sign"?? Well I get the distinct impression that's a Virgo. (Although I'd never take pisces no matter what!)

So I look at the shifts to see if I can get out from under the Virgo badge.. turns out. NOPE! I am unaffected by the 13th sign change so I said screw it. It's 12 for me for life...

Ugh. Sorry to burst your bubble, but Ophiuchus isn't apart of the astrology you know of. The astrology commonly discussed between friends and on this website is based on 12 equal divisions in the sky, not the borders of constellations. Our astrology is based on the position of the vernal equinox and not on the current position of constellations of the sky.

It is very much like how we say Lunch Time! (other astrology) but in fact that could mean 11:30am, Noon, or even as late as 3pm. The practiced astrology we discuss on DXP has no need for a 12th sign, and doesn't even make sense to discuss.

If you want to practice that astrology go look up and study Sidereal Astrology, you will be further confused by all topics of astrology because there are slight differences in times lining up etc.

Uh.. no bubble bursted. The USA observes the calendar zodiac (the 12th months you speak of)
and other countries observe both the astral and the calendar based...

I was just wondering if their "findings" about the 13th sign (you said 12th but meant 13th) is BS or not.

I personally am NOT affected because the "shift" leaves me alone.. 😉 dig?

So HOW can I do as you presumed anyhow?? 😛


I don't like the change and don't feel this place observed it so you are off base on that, however I was inquiring if it were true or not. Even in THAT type of astrology not the type here, is it BS?

Gotcha, I hear ya. I wish those who discovered this 13th sign for use in their astrology that we don't use, would have been more careful not to muddy the world of astrology.

The 13th of each month falls under the sign so if you are born on the 13th its your sign
I am waiting for the other 18 to show up then we can have a new one every day.
