Financially secure is fine, but the rest....empowerment...Pfff. I could give a rat's ass about empowerment.

What does that do for women who are alone and empowered?

Ooohhh it does loads!!! I live alone (with my son half the week) and i am totally independent and strong now.
I feel empowered the way i can walk into a bar and sit up like men do, how i can face any situation alone
(deaths, crisis etc), travel alone....do anything with just me!

It is very empowering for me, as i was always a woman that focused on the *other*

When you find yourself totally alone (all my family died and my husband left) you have to have self love,
if not, you wouldnt make it through

We only have ourselves when all is said and done

yeah scary!! ironically it can be the best thing in retrospect if you look at it from a spiritual
point of view!!!!

life has pushed me to be what i am meant to be......strong and alone (at times) but not lonely 🙂
as you know i have a wonderful lover but even in that, he is abroad (life again showing me not
to need)

the problem was, i was so neeeeedy the universe had to give me a great big PUSH to help me move
on from this

You and I have different philosophies in life at this point. You're happy and I'm happy, that's what it is. Other people get jealous because we have our happiness. That's about it.

Yes people do get jealous and resentful when you are happy lisabeth....i have found that quite a lot

What can you do, except be yourself and then put the middle finger up to them 😄
