will they work? I'm currently feeling this Pisces guy with Venus in Aquarius, which is said to be an emotionally detached sign. Apparently Venus in Aquarius people are really detached in relationships (funny thing is, I've experienced different, not in romantic relationships, but close relationships; they haven't been emotional, but have been clingy), and so is Venus in Virgo. I can attest to the Virgo detachment because my Venus is in Virgo. I'm a Scorpio, so of course I'm in touch with my emotions, I just refuse to show them and I get uncomfortable with emotional displays. Would this commonality work for or against the couple? Would the detachement prevent a connection from forming?

Actually the two are quite different. (I have Venus in Virgo retrograde).
Aquarians are ruled by Uranus (you might know what happened to him) and don't care that much about the physical body. They say that to an Aquarian the love for a friend is as fullfilling and sought after as the love for a lover, as they can't really see the difference.
Venus in Virgo correlates to masochism, emptiness and void inside, not being perfect, therefore the need to perfect oneself, to serve, to heal and repair others. Venus in Virgo usually attracts Pisces and a funny dynamic a sado-masochism.
