Picture yourself in the desert. You see the stereotypical illusion of water, and you're getting thirsty since it's dry and you're getting dehydrated. Part of you tells you it's not really there, but the other part tells you to run over there because you'll die without water. You start running... you're almost there... that's when you realize it. It's not really there. You feel like a fool, because part of you told yourself it wasn't but you ran for it anyways. The water always looks just out of reach... just out of your range yet it looks so good.
This is how I'd describe being Venus when it is square someone else's Neptune. At least that's what it feels like for me being a female/Venus.
He was everything I could've dreamed of. Something about him seemed unreal, and he had an ethereal, alluring quality. I was immediately captivated by this aura and his energy and everything he "appeared" to be. Little did I know was he was lying about various things. Some small, some large. I do not believe he had malicious intentions...I just think his goal was to be impressive to hold my interest. It worked, but it was more of a letdown when I realized he was not the person he claimed to be. The only Saturn aspect we had was our Saturns sextile each other and his Saturn opposite my Ascendant. Everything moved and grew quite fast and then all of a sudden, disillusionment happened.

Can you look at this synastry and tell me what you think? I really like this guy, but I don’t know if he likes me back. We dated, were friends with benefits and we can be apart without talking to each other for months, but then it’s like we never left. An
The Pisces unraveled me. I knew it would end quickly. The synastry was too terrible. What seemed like the perfect man turned into the perfect liar.

Whenever any of these two planets are touching each other in a synastry (a combined chart of two people) something very powerful happens.
