Virgo fiancée broke up with me because of a dog… Heartbroken.
Oh and PS, he never considered a rescue at all-and he told me if he got rid of her he would have to get a puppy because he has another German Shepherd (who is awesome )that dog would be lonely without her. Really? What about my dog? but I cannot stress enough how much I love animals-he wanted to initially put her down and I would not allow it-I love my dog more than anything but a dangerous dog is a dangerous dog. I still feel like shit.

I've been dating my Virgo over a year-we got engaged at the end of June 2016. Typical Virgo -critical but not in a bad way- and everything had to go his way. He decided everything we were going to do when we were going to do it etc. etc. it was like he lived in his own bubble and if everything wasn't the way he wanted it he would freak out.lots of anxiety-However he did treat me really well took care of me was extremely faithful and a pretty much nice guy. The problem was about a week ago his large German Shepherd attacked my little dog by the throat and hurt him. I never asked him to put the dog down I suggested that he try and find a rescue because I'm not comfortable living there it would make me a crazy mess not to mention unsafe for my dog-they do it once they're going to do it again. And she's kind of a nutty dog something is just off about her she's had aggression issues since she was little. Anyway I was very upset and his solution was we were going to separate them he was going to drug the dog and separate them- that's how we were going to live our life. When I said I couldn't live like that he immediately broke up with me and told me he would never get rid of her etc. etc. It's over. I can't believe I was dumped for a dog. Really. It was an unsafe atmosphere and he picked her over me. Just an FYI he's 54 and never been married no kids. Had long-term relationships but lived by himself almost the whole time-I really can't loved him and wanted to be with him so in my mind I didn't measure up.
