What gives!?? Can I vent, find answers, shared stories?

Men what gives? So I finally joined Tinder after watching how "fun" it seemed to be for my friend. Well a week in and I am ready to delete it. It seems like men just do not know how to follow through with basic "get to know" you protocol. Worse than that, most don't seem to know how to ask a woman out on date.

Maybe the increase in easy women has made it this way but I have 3 guys flake on me, 2 flaked because I took too long to reply to them (I have a job), the other immediately asked me out for drinks and my number but here, the day of, and I don't hear from him.

Men, do you not know how to ask a girl on a date? I have heard a lot of guys say that they are use to the girl setting up the date so they just talk and see how far they can go.

It's a fuck app.

Yeah everyone keeps saying it's a fuck app but then I keep hearing stories and meeting people like @lovinglioness1115 who have found relationships out of it. I can be fine with hitting endless swipes to the left if guy after guy is turning into only wanting hookups. But what frustrates me is that this guy asked for number, asked to meet me just to flake. I decided to ask him why and he said he was sick all weekend and forgot. So I take it as if he was not that serious about us meeting to begin with. To be honest he was bad from day one with the communicating.

Idk I just think too many guys are flake these days.

Just use it to serial date, even guys you might not feel that interested in. Tell them it's just platonic face time introductions for now, no pressure. Public places. Don't try too hard to look for anything. Just learn about people.

I am in a pretty people oriented field @AriElla7 I don't want to meet people, waste their time when I know the assumption has been built off of some dating/hookup app. Sigh, I feel I am going to become so cold heartless bitch just dating guys for what they can do for me because I am over their games. @Lovinglioness1115 Exactly, like if you were gonna flake why ask for my number and ask me out. I just don't see how it was necessary.

Of course, you run into everything from both sides online. It is what it is. The Internet has ruined dating. I miss the days when ppl would (gasp) walk up and introduce themselves. These days that could get you put on the predator list.
