Anybody know much about yods or Chiron? We've got two yods in our synastry: His Chiron, my Mercury with a Neptune Apex (and) My Pluto and Neptune with his Chiron Apex.

My Chiron is also conjuct his ascendant

I'm nervous that all this Chiron means a "pain" and/or "drama" and/or general woe as a means for personal growth... which is great, everybody should grow! But uhm... maybe not when you hope this person will be someone special to you. I'm not looking to reenact "Wuthering Heights."

Help?

Thanks. I've been trying for a few days to find anything concrete on the Interwebs, but it all seems to be in reference to natal charts.
Hmm. IDK what Yod is lol.. I've heard and tried to read but...it went over my head :p

So, the layman's version (aka the version I understand, and that's not saying much), is that a Yod is a rare thing that appears in a chart. It's related to karmic growth or detriment. So, it makes a triangle in a chart, the two "bottom" points are sextile, and they don't really fit with the upper point. All together, the three points are either used as a like... a supercharged battery to help people overcome major issues in their lives, ooooooorrrrrrrrr... they can be the sign of someone's downfall. Like crash and burn.

That's for a natal though, so in synastry, I have no idea. Add Chiron to the mix who's one big emo bastard (though a strong healing element as well...) I have no idea what the hell is going on. It's SUPER COOL 😄

Hmm.. Okay. Thanks for explaining! 3 points involving 2 sextiles at the bottom! 😄

Chiron..hmm, I never felt the affect of it in my natal. But I've heard about members speak about Chiron aspect in synastry. Hopefully one of them sees this thread today.(degenerate_ingénue) 😕

I looked at your chart interpretation on the other thread, you are sooo good! (:

Chiron in syn, especially with merc, can create an openess. If Chiron represents, "the wounded healer" and merc rules speech, it becomes a healing through communication. Doesn't necessarily mean it's all flowers and kisses, but growth isn't easy. In my head I think I'd prefer someone who pushed my boundaries and got to the root of me.

I love Chiron stuff.

Maybe check this read out.

As for yods, I'm still trying to read them on a natal chart. I knowThe tip points to a spot that shows great determination to overcome.

Good luck.

Thanks so much for the link. I like Chiron too, or at least, I think I do. But you are right... Boundaries being pushed gets you growth and healing. Carpe Diem!

And I read that the tip points to the area that needs focus too and that you use the two bottom points and their lessons to help you achieve success? Or did I get that wrong??
