I guess it goes back to the old addage ..
Do I follow my head, or follow my heart?
So, would it be safe to assume that the ego directs the head .. while the soul directs the heart?
Yet, to follow the instructions of the theory behind the addage .. it is suggesting that the right course is to follow the head.
How can this be right? It seems in contridiction to true love.
