Attracting Opposites...

I just had a question mainly for the women who are currently or used to be party girls.

Im a clean cut guy, maybe once a year, I'll drink. I've never done drugs, and dont smoke. I dress plainly in a boring sense.

I have no probably going out and about on the weekends with people. Im outgoing, but can be a homebody when it suits.

Getting to my point before this dovetails into a singles ad, I attract a lot of party/bad girl looking types. You know, ones that have either a couple of tats on their back or above their butt. Or the ones who have almost a sleeve on their arm. And drink, smoke, or whatever.

Im not criticizing but I dont understand why I attract them. Cause I look boring and not one of the classic "bad boy" looking types.

Are party girls attracted to someone boring like me to balance them out? For example, they feel like being with a guy who is as hardcore as them may be too dangerous in the long run?

So is it basically they need a steady rock to lean on because the women themselves are fragile? Or the fact that a guy like me is responsible financially and has a somewhat steady income?

Just wondering if the gals who party currently or used to can explain their attraction to straight, boring types like me.

Well actually, I dont meet these girls in bars. Ironically, I meet them in places like coffeehouses, bookstores, grocery stores. They usually approach me or give a definitive sign of interest. Dont get me wrong, Im not complaining about them. I just find it humorous that a square looking guy like me attracts bad girl types. Here's'another question. Do you think its like a challenge to them in it being more fun trying to corrupt an "innocent" like me? Basically the exact reverse of trying to change a bad boy concept. But attempting to make a good boy bad.

Oh Im not passive in the least. I dont put up with getting treated like crap undeservedly. Believe me, some girls have tried to play head games/emotional abuse but I drop them like a bad habit immediately. I dont suffer from the fear of being alone like some men do. In fact, Im just fine being alone with me and my hand 😉

ZenArcade- sorry to be blunt, but are you hot? If you're good looking and dress like you might have a little dough, then you'll have to beat women off with sticks. And "bad girls" are more forward.

Janettam, it was only a joke. Just made in reference to the fact besides the fear of being alone, men will stay in unhealthy relationships because they dont think being single sex happening again.

Im too busy to even masturbate. Im currently in job hunt mode after getting laid off two weeks ago. I have one potential job that is supposed to start. But its been pushed back twice with next week being the start date. So Im looking at other options. My dad always said always keep your options open when it comes to work and being single 🙂

Besides isnt masturbation before the deed potentially happening a good preventive measure for prematuring so to speak?

Anyway, girls do think Im goody till they have sex with me. Then it becomes "Jungle Time" with throwing on the bed, hairpulling, and other sorts of kink.

The funny thing is I always sought out cute, nice, nerdy girls. But either they were more interested in jocks, or it was musicians. Hot girls looked my way more.

To answer your question Whimsy, I dont consider myself hot. Im average looking, slender not buff. I dress nice, but no armani action going on. My hair style 's average with just some gel, parting of hair and hairspray. I have a theory that there's always a hot chick who's got weird taste in guys. For example, I remember seeing that Rosario Dawson and Eva Mendes both had crushes on Conan O'Brien.

There's one hot chick friend of mine who is obsessed with Jack Black. Anyway, I guess I've always managed to be lucky to run into hot girls with taste in weird looking dudes.

Im not criticizing "bad girls" Im just dumbfounded they're attracted to me. I like women who are forward, as Im shy about approaching girls. The only way I approach if they give a definitive, no way to mistake it, sign of interest. More women could take a note from the bad girls being aggressive. Cause not all men like the chase.

Rafail, I was asking a question because Im dumbfounded that someone like me ends up having these girls be interested. Second in my last post I answering a question by Whimsy describing what I look like.

Let me tell you, if I was going to do indirect bragging it would be about dating a girl such as Irina Shayk or someone that looks like her. But Im not rich or an athlete, so that wouldnt happen 😉

Rafail, ive seen your posts before in other threads. And it seems like half the time you just bait people into a verbal tete a tete. Im guessing you do it cause youre bored at work. Sorry im not helping you in that area. Im fine with constructive feedback. But youre just slamming for the sake of it. I didnt know why those kinds of girls liked me based on my appearance. So I came here to get feedback. And if I were indulging some fantasy dont you think I would leave out having to take the bus in a post? Im sorry you feel that way. But im not going to indulge in a thread debate. Now if youve got honest feedback instead of dissing we can talk

Thanks for the explanation Rafail. What I meant by the question was i look like a boring yuppie. Even though I dont act or live like one. I just dont understand given my yuppie clothes what would me attractive to alternative bohemian girls. Regular non artsy party chicks usually go for athletes or at least dudes built like The Rock. I end up attracting these two types of bad girls even though I dont look or dress like the archetypes they're usually attracted to. I also meet a lot of these girls through the bus or at a bus stop. So they have an inkling that Im not rich. I guess im gonna have to go with the whole they like the challenge of making a guy less innocent so to speak

Volks, I dont mean bad girls in the true sense of being terrible. But in the aspect of being party hearty, like to live life on the edge types.

It could be that your life style attracts them. That's not a criticism of how you live BTW. I have one thing to address. If a male or female is single and dates more than one person at a time, who cares? They're not exclusive, so there is no cheating. People have their reasons for being single. Some like me, dont have time because of focusing on finding a job or have busy schedules. Others may be recovering from a toxic relationship and are not ready at that point for another.

As long as someone isnt leading the other person on and is honest from the git go about being casual, then there's nothing wrong with dating around. Im fine being single, but like anyone else need to have sex now and then. If a male or female gets attached to someone solely based on good shagging, then they clearly are not mature enough to be in a relationship.

But if you meant a guy who's taken that has more than one girl, yeah he's a douche.
