guys and phone calls

I was calling my special friend today (I like him and he likes me, but we live in different cities, so, I am not sure whether or not something terribly serious is gonna happen between us...he did want to visit my city though).

Anyway, I was calling him and in the middle of our conversation he said: "I will call you back real quick, I have to take this phone call" I am wondering, WHO was calling him?

Is this a leading question to get people to start speculating with intentions of causing insecurities?

Was he at work. He probably was trying to get in touch with someone (not necessarily personal either) and didn't want to keep playing phone tag. If it happens more nad more nad he is not at work then I would say be suspicious. Otherwise, just enjoy getting to know him. 🙂
