.. we really are and want to be good.

A person can be sitting in a restuarant and their arch enemy is the waitress, we will say, "Please"

You could be entering the store with your partner, after an hour long argument in the car, where you called each other, "Asshole" , "Bitch" and meant it .. then hold the door open for each other when entering the store.

No matter how much hate, nastiness is displayed towards somebody, no matter how badly they may have treated you .. you will always say, "please & thank you". You will always use your manners, no matter what.

This is just me babbling in here about how I believe that people truly are good in their hearts and it shows when we aren't "thinking" about hatred and just operating from our instincts.

It's getting late, so good night 🙂

you have raised a good question.

is it innate instinctual goodness or is it social decorum and manners instilled as a learned behavior?

Just for vanity reasons alone:-) - I choose goodness.....can you imagine all those nasty revenge thoughts which DO actually show on your face if you are continually in a bad mood or state of mind in the expression of frown lines, droopy mouths, furrowed brows, crows feet!!!!....not for me, not in my world!!:-)...I need my daily botox injection of "goodness" every day.....or I know I will become a sour-puss....and who likes sour-pusses—?.....only other sour-pusses!!!!I want to be a forever young puss!!:-)
