Mars still covers how a woman handles anger, but the venus sign is how a woman behaves/reacts in the bedroom. I've read several different interpretations on this topic. Supposedly if a woman's Venus and a man's Mars are compatible it's the makings of a good relationship. But, then I've also heard that someone with your own sun sign as their ascendant (and vice versa) is the be all end all of relationship bliss. If you have all of the above, it must be nirvana! 🙂

This is how I've always seen it explained:

"Venus planet as primary planet of love, beauty gives a notion of how we express ourselves in relationships.
In a woman's horoscope Venus represents the type of woman she is and the way she expresses herself in relationships and of course her sexual expression.

In a man's horoscope Venus is an indicator of a woman the man will be most likely sexually attracted to.
Mars as an embodiment of masculinity in its turn represents action and power. Therefore Mars is a key to man's sexual expression and his behavior in personal relationships."

Venus is BOTH how a woman loves and her sexual expression, and Mars is the same for a man. That's how Liz Greene explains it in "Astrology for Lovers", anyway.

I would think the rest of the chart would have to be considered to describe "how someone loves" not just what sign their Venus is in. I think that's oversimplifying.

And Shaka, if you agree with most of my post, it might be more clear if you do not start your response with "WRONG" as the first word. Especially, when it's all correct. 😛

I can't find anything that supports what you're saying about venus in my books.
