I was reading an article in a magazine about women who fall for the wrong men (ie the 'bad' boys). This relationship expert said that the problem lay with the women pursuing relationships which had that spark at the beginning instead of perhaps dating someone who was nice, but the spark wasn't there.
I've had experiences of both. I've had intense relationships with men with whom I've felt an instant attraction, had butterflies in my stomach and thought about them all the time. But, the relationships that have made me totally immerse myself in the other person have been the slow burners, the men whom I've seen, thought were nice looking or nice people, and with whom an attraction has built up over time.
No, it was in a magazine that came with a Sunday newspaper, so it is aimed at women I suppose.
