Situation 1: My mom's cousin is like in his late 20s, he marries this girl in her mid-20s, she's gorgeous, comes from a well off family, has a great career (she paid for her own wedding). They're both from a country where women are still mostly seen as just playing a housewife role so clearly my mom's cousin hit the jackpot. Now my mom's cousin on the other hand just comes from a rich family and God knows what he's doing with his life and most likely does drugs. After the wedding, he shortly divorces her!

Situation 2: My gorgeous friend can honestly get any guy she wants. She got married at 20 to some 28 year old (who had lied about his age, he had told them he was 26). He's 32 now and still hasn't completed his bachelors yet keeps enrolling in courses every semester that he ends up dropping. My friend shortly got her degree at 22. He does shady stuff like lie about going to the library for hours with no evidence of work/studies to back it up. Since he's a good for nothing mofo, my friend's parents bought them a house and paid it off. Fast forward 2 more years later and my friend got sick of his shit and divorced him. Since they had the house under both their names, the bastard ended up making money out of the divorce since they sold it and got 50/50.

Why do men take for granted and treat women who are clearly out of their league like shit? If only they at least had something going on for themselves but they didn't.
