There are stages. There's the initial painful stage that is just like going through withdrawal from a drug. Might last anywhere from a couple days to a few months, depending on the seriousness and length of the relationship and why you broke up and whether you've accepted it's really over. You will then go through all the stages of grief, like from a death. That part can take years. I think if you really loved them, something always remained lodged...it just stops intruding on your thoughts all the time.

Does anyone knows why is it so hard?
Why no one researching on that mental horror? Why doesn't it bother anyone and every person suffered from these mental aches and no one does nothing—
Seems like this proves that God is there punishing us for whatever is that we had done...

As for why you find yourself in the situation you're in, our hearts and brains have evolved beyond what our bodies do by evolution, I think, and we live a lot longer than nature originally intended.

I think we just should feel it till it hurts no more Gemitati. There's no other way out. So you just accept it. You got that right. It'll be maddening at first. But we'll be ok.

You may ask me why would anyone want to be in this pain.But some ppl just refuse to let go. They get addicted to the pain more than a person after a point.
Love is called blind, deaf n dumb for a reason. It takes over your every sense. When falling in love can make you that insane , how can falling out be any easier? You die inside. No physical pain can probably match it. That crippling pain...feel it!!That's all you can do really.But you should always want to let go.
