But what about in the case of mass murderers like the Christchurch shooter or abortion clinic bombers or ISIS? Should we judge them? Or one-time murderers who didn’t have a justifiable cause? What about pedophiles, should we judge them?

"Matt.7. [1] Judge not, that ye be not judged. [2] For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. [3] And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?"
There was also the 10 commandments.

Basically, don’t judge others while you are off being sinfull your self. We all sin, but some sins come with greater consequences, and so we are to judge the sin, and not the sinner.

Yeah I’ve already read that verse. But does it still hold when it comes to murderers, rapists, etc? I feel like only god can judge but at the same time I personally wouldn’t want to be friends with a rapist.
The ten commandments specifically mention not to murder.
What you're referring to is just as Moonbutter mentioned - was actually referring to hypocrisy. Murder was considered a sin.
Genesis 9:6
"Whoever sheds man's blood, By man his blood shall be shed, For in the image of God He made man."
Exodus 21:12
"He who strikes a man so that he dies shall surely be put to death"
Leviticus 24:21
'Thus the one who kills an animal shall make it good, but the one who kills a man shall be put to death.click to expand

This is why I can’t get behind it. If you believe in God you should be okay with abortion because you know those babies are going to heaven and we aren’t supposed to be of this Earth.
There is a lot of interpretation where people use it for their own beliefs and they are super corrupt which ironically is exactly what Jesus preaches against.
I’m over religion.

So most of y’all know the Bible says we shouldn’t judge anyone, for the same judgment reflects and will come back unto us.

I mean, I doubt 5% of DXP’ers have ever set foot inside a Christian church. This probably isn’t the best place to get information.

5% should actually be 33% of dxpers
1/3 is pretty high statistics
I'll direct my crap wherever I choose on this open forum. Thanks internet
You’re logic makes zero sense, as usual.
Half the US is Republican. Bet 50% of NYC isn’t. Same with DXP.
I guess you quoted me being that nobody else wanted to engage in your tangent hoping for a reply. You got one. Be thankful and scurry alongclick to expand

Can't forget the lovely godly instructions on how one must marry their daughter to their rapists as long as he pays the dowery. If he can't then both must be put to death. Him for 'taking' your property aka your female child, and her for being un pure.
Using the christian god as a model for being a decent human is a slippery slope.
I'd take the koran god over the bible god, js.

They're not much different. What you gave as an example is also mentioned in the Koran.click to expand

"He who strikes a man so that he dies shall surely be put to death"
Leviticus 24:21
'Thus the one who kills an animal shall make it good, but the one who kills a man shall be put to death.
Samuel 15:3 “Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.”
Ezekiel 9:4-7 “And the Lord said unto him, Go through . . . the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof. And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity: Slay utterly old and young, both maids and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark. . . .”
Hosea 13:16 “Samaria shall become desolate; for she hath rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up.”
Deuteronomy 32:23-25 “I will spend mine arrows upon them. . . . The sword without, and terror within, shall destroy both the young man and the virgin, the suckling also with the man of gray hairs.”
In Numbers chapter 31 “Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.”
Isaiah 13:9,15-18 “Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger. . . . Every one that is found shall be thrust through. . . . Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes . . . and their wives ravished. Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them. . . . [T]hey shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eyes will not spare children.”
Another problem with this book. Too many contradictions to be held up as 'truth'.
You do realize there are many many version's and remixes to the bible, right?! They don't all say the same thingclick to expand

Note that some of the nastiest DXP people are also atheist/agnostic types.
Should give plenty of insights as to the place they will end up in when it's all over.
