I'm not Catholic by any means, but I am Christian. I did go to Parochial schools most of my life. I just never understood how saying a prayer REPITIOUSLY..ad nauseam, would get anymore heard or bring about results quicker than ONE simple FERVENT prayer to God.
In Matthew 6:7 Christ says, —And in praying do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard for their many words,?? or... to use the KJV, —But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.??
Christ Denounced vain, Reptitious, circuitous prayer..aka "ThoughtLESS" or "mindless prayer"..
Instead we are to FORM our prayers, from the heart.
Not causing trouble in anyway. Just being logical.

I wanted to let you all know. Honestly this is the truth. I said the above prayer nine times, posted it. Did exactly what was said to do. 45 minutes or so, I got a phone call for a job. That is EXACTLY what my prayer was.
