That it's perfectly acceptable for non-believers to taunt, mock, degrade, and put down those who do believe.

Just saying. It's really been grating my nerves lately. :/ I think I'm going to blow up soon.
First off, I never push my beliefs on anyone. I never have. Most people don't even know what I believe or where I stand in regards to belief because I feel it's something very personal to me, and I know not everyone believes the same.

If someone is genuinely interested, and asks me, I'll tell them...but I never try to convince anyone they should believe it too. I just tell them how I see it. Always respectfully, IMO.

Yet, just in the past 2 weeks I've been confronted more than 3 times by people who start ranting how people who believe in God are idiots, are un-evolved, primitive, blah blah blah......at some point, when they've gotten over themselves, they notice I've gone silent & ask me whats up? I have no choice but to plainly say: I believe in God, *shrug*
Some how I manage to state my opinion without condemning them for not believing the same, looking down on them, or trying to convince them otherwise, etc. HOWEVER those same people look down at me, laugh, mock me, and try to argue with me and some how convince me I'm wrong. — I don't fucking get why that's okay. I'm going to lose my mind on someone.

People's biggest complaint about believers is that they try to push their beliefs on others, think they're right and everyone else is wrong, and look down at those who don't believe.....
While that might be the case quite often, I'm here to say as a believer, I've experienced this behavior more from non-believers & they're quite fucking nasty about it too. 🙂
Just look at the threads in this forum alone.

Respect each others beliefs!!!!! What is right for you, may be totally wrong for someone else.
Spirituality is like language, we all have different ways of expressing ourselves. There are many factors and influences.
Stop condemning those who don't feel the same as you!

VERY annoying.

Next time I'm just gonna say "have fun with that" and walk away. I'm not even going to give them the satisfaction of telling them I believe so they can mock me. I'm scared what I might say to the next asshole who tries me with that BS.

I'm sorry Briana 😢
I wouldn't look down at you, won't even make a height joke.
I enjoyed watching Steve-O: the demise and rise if that counts for anything.
😛

yay 🙂 Didn't you love it? It was really heart-warming to see him so serious and vulnerable, considering he's such a raving lunatic most of the time.

I agree with you but its not a one way thing either. often believers try to force their belifes on to others which pisses them off and they want answers and evidence on why they should believe and dont like being told thier wrong or evil just because they dont believe in what they do.
