Clinging onto Sagittarius peeps

How do you feel when someone clings onto you?
Are you okay with it or do you immediately feel like running? LOL
To what extent are you okay with it? (if you are)

Here's the thing: I have a teenage Sagi baby sister whom I adore to death but she often accuses me of being clingy towards her 😢
My boyfriend is also a Sagi and he sometimes makes jokes about how I resemble a needy puppy in a pet store.

Clingy to me is being up my ass all day every day. And to me I cannot stand it! Starting something new with someone I expect them to have a small degree of clinginess-as in wanting to spend time and to build the relationship, but as Ruthless says, if I don't care about you then you have no business being clingy.

When the person starts to like me and won't stop talking to me, and I don't like them back, then I get a bit annoyed.

If it's someone I'm dating I can still get annoyed, but only if they are being mature, like grabbing onto me and not letting go, or always having to talk to me, or making weird dinosaur noises...

For anyone, if it's too much communication I will get deterred, even if I really like you.

LOL fair enough, fair enough.

The thing is though, I don't particularly see myself as clingy.
Take the relationship between my baby sister and I for exmaple. I will admit that I call and text her more than I should but that's only because I'm worried about her. I want her to give me daily updates on her life. I want to make sure she's not in trouble or hanging out with the wrong crowd. So I call her to give her these peptalks but being the sassy teenager that she is, she just bascially finds me annoying LOL

And as far as my boyfriend goes, he's usually very tolerating of my "clinginess" but I could definitely make some improvements. Don't get me wrong guys. I do give him plenty of free reign. Being a Gemini and all I love my freedom as much as you guys do. But its just that I tend to touch him too much lol I see him as this big, cuddly teddy bear and so naturally my instinct is to cuddle up to him whenever I get the chance lol or sometimes before he goes to work, I'll jokingly say stuff like "don't gooooooo 😢" I don't mean it (ok maybe I'm half serious but Come on!!!!! That's not being cligny, is it? lol of course you can go to work!!! or heck you can even go to parties without me. I won't mind!!!)

Btw, cafeastrology has free birth/natal chart reports that will give you a pretty decent summary. It's a good jumping off point if nothing else.

Thanks so much! I was able to get my birth chart! (I don't know what time I was born so I just ticked 'Time unknown')hopefully that didn't affect the result!! This is what I got. The long descriptions of my personality fit me to a T!!!! lol There were a few things here and there that I just couldn't identify with but overall it was very accurate.

Cherry, the last thing I wanna do is hijack your thread, so I'm not. I will say tho, I've found it really fascinating cause I'm a Cappy and can come off as too aloof to people. That we're both dealing with the same sign, but from two different spectrums is intriguing.

That explains it all. I find it very touching that you care so much about your baby sis. I'm a baby sister myself. My older siblings never did that crap. Sags don't do well with pep talks. Its all about trial and error.

I asked my baby sis why she is so angry at me and she said "I'm not angry at you. I know you mean well when you give me advice but it's the severe lack of trust you display towards me that bothers me. I haven't given you any reason to distrust me. I want you to start believing in me more."

And she was absolutely right. She's never given me any reason to distrust her yet there I was treating her like a little kid. I was the problem all along. Not her. I felt so bad so I apologized and she totally forgave me!! 🙂 My sis is more than capable of handling her own business and I need to respect that.

I find it funny that you asked that being a Gemini lol. I am a sag and I am surrounded by Geminis, my older sister, my 2 good friends, etc.. I am really used to Geminis, I actually gotta confess that I find Gemini's the most interesting and entertaining zodiac sign. You guys are able to keep us entertained, and mentally stimulated so that's excellent; and at the same time I feel you guys genuinely care about us even if sometimes you guys can be a bit too protective and sometimes clingy lol.

I personally don't find you guys as cling as other signs (other signs are cling annoying like pisces!) but me personally I can tolerate Geminis being clingy, just don't over do it though (like the Libras) that can definitely get us annoyed! Also it annoys be a bit when you guys give attention all the time and then all of a sudden withdraw it for no reason and even act differently only to have you a few days later giving it back, it's weird! But then again I always appreciate it when the Geminis give me some time to breath and to relax alone, I have to deal with 3 of them on a daily basis hehe.

Me as a Sag just like others said, if I know you and I like you I don't mind you being that clingy if I am dating you or you are a really good friend, but if I don't know you or barely do don't even try it because I'm gonna run away and probably hate you forever.

I would definitely advice you to let your sister be the one who comes and tells you things, just show her that you trust her and support her decisions and the rest will come up. For us Sags the most important thing is trust, if we feel like we can trust you then we will open up to you. Before I didn't use to be close with my Gemini sister but she then showed me that I could trust her and ever since I tell her everything, sounds weird but I talk with her everyday, I can't go a day without talking to my sister or my 2 other gemini friends lol.
I would say Geminis definitely have an advantage when it comes to befriending a Sag, you guys don't have to try, it comes natural I would say. My 2 parents are Sags as well and I think the 3 of us definitely rely on my Gemini sister to keep our sanity in place lol.

Funny I used to be clingy but not anymore, my sister hated that and dissed me in high school coz I adored her and wanted to like her so much then she ditched me and toldme to get new friends for myself and stop hanging around her. I feel sorry for enbarrassing her for my own clingyness, she was inthe popular group and had allthe guys after her I guess I held her back somehow and made her look daggy but i still dont understand why she would even do that to her own sister, fuck I was not popular at all and I didnt care whether I was or not. The shit dont matter, what hurt the most is her disowning me and hating me for no reason. Or maybe there was and its a shallow one. Yeh fuck it was high school and I was shitscared and my siter was the only person I knew and I really didnt think it would be a problem for her if her younger sister hung around her but it was. We grew up to make sure you look after one another like brothers and sisters look after one another and ever since then I realised she never liked me at all so I withdrew from her and never went badck to her. So because of that I learnt not to be clingy at all and yeh thanks sis!

Yeh also ppl I thought were friends Iget clingy but now I was clingy to a certain person due to me being in an emotional state and then I realised he didnt like that so I am back to not being clingy with him at all coz he just like my sister. Sorry for embarrassing you by being clingy, I never will be with you again.

Had a super duper pisces guy and fell madly in love! I chased and chased and waited and waited and it was fun and then he turned round and wanted to spend every waking minute with me, which for him was odd, very odd,but he would do that all the time, then one day he mentioned why don't i stay the night? I loved him i realy did, but when i was with him i got bored, we ran out of stuff to say to each other, he got closer and i just bolted. Oh my goodness I am so sorry that your sister scarred you for life. I'm a big sis and I can't imagine ignoring my little sis in her time of need. Excuse my language but your sister is a cold blooded bitch for what she did to you in highschool. Shooing her poor lilttle sister away (who adored her and looked up to her) like she's some type of disease. You don't need her!

A little clinginess is okay and might even be cute depending on the situation but if it's so bad to the point where you're immobolizing me and making me feel guilty about leaving you alone and doing my thing out in the real world, then we have a problem. If the relationship gets too stuffy, I'm out.

Clingy people usually have abandonment issues from childhood so I do feel sorry for them and everything but please don't project your insecurities on me. I can't help you.

It's weird I'm a sag and people say im "clingy" when all I do is treat them how I'd want to be treated same way if something were to happen to them! I guess being caring is clingy now a days! I don't mind clingy as long as your not breathing down my neck and I can go pee without you there lol 😉
