Dating Scorp/Sag with Mars in Scorp

Dating this wonderful scorpio guy on the very cusp of sag. Only problem is people who meet him seem to be intimidated by him. He is a very intense person and likes to observe people. He's not really the social butterfly type, but he can carry on a conversation professionally.

Sadly he does the same thing I do around my significant others parents. Clam up and become afraid to say anything for fear you'll mess things up. This and the fact that he is such an intimidating person to others (never was to me) makes people a bit standoffish to him. And this in turn has caused my parents to either be very quiet about him or to say weird or annoying things regarding him.

I feel like the Mars in Scorpio, or at least him, myself, and a few others I've noticed have this issue with people feeling intimidated by us. Like we're some kind of predator.

Anyone else here with MIS who feels like people are standoffish, rude, or feel intimidated when they are meeting you?

Yeah I get that "avoiding" bit as well. Then when I have my social days people really warm up to me. Some people want to approach you but they're afraid to I guess :/

anyways, had a talk with my dad and straightened things out. He tells me he was just being overprotective. Guess it's just a matter of time and more outtings together before they will like him too.

Glad to know there are other MIS people with a similar issue.

My sister (Virgo sun/merc) has MIS.
It's not a rare event that she finds someone was rude to her.
