...joke around all the time, so when it's time to be serious no one actually takes you seriously OR your friends just don't know how to take you atal?

I find myself and other Sagis in this position. I also tend to look on the lighter side of life and even when a situation needs to be addressed seriously it's almost like I am carefree and light hearted about it (which I'm not)and sometimes it comes across to others that I just don't give a fuck! (which isn't the case)

BUT....the rare times when I have to put people in check they don't know how to take me and my 'serious' tone. Peeps (my friends) start getting shook!

When I'm deadly serious, they're all like 'Are you playing?' (cause of my natural jokey nature) AND it drives me nuts and I'm like 'No I ain't playing bitch'. What to do?! lol!

Last year me and friends established a code so they know when I'm serious and when I'm fucking around!

I try to choose my battles and not let many things get me worked up to the point where I feel the need to be confrontational...but when I do I feel like I still come across like I'm playing cause and they think I'm being funny or sarcastic...then shit gets really real and I seem unnecessarily harsh.

Yeah, the sarcasm thing....I'm not always being sarcastic! 😢
