it's been perfect life since the sag came into it. We got all moved in, got her kids enrolled in school, everyone has been getting along great. I've never been so in love before as I am with the sag, and I've already gotten really attached to her two boys too.
But, the dad got a lawyer and got the judge to sign over custody to him in a special hearing that we didn't even understand we had to be there for. So, he drove to Tx and took the kids from school last mon. There was nothing we could do. He had nothing much to do with the kids when they were together -- now he wants them (wants to use them to get to sag). She's gonna have to move back to SC to have any fighting chance of getting her kids back ... she has no job there, no car, no place to stay, but they expect her to come back ... and give her new address to a man that has a stack of police incident reports for domestic violence against him.
Court system sucks ... and its putting her in harms way because he does go violent sometimes. We're still just in shock at the idiocy of what has happened this week.
Funnies though -- the youngest was face-timing with sag the other day and the dad was of course listening in on everything. The boy kept asking to see me (uncle J.) and has been talking about all the fun stuff they did with me ... the dad just gets pissed and walks off and i know that boy knew what he was doing. He's the younger one, but the ballsiest.
there is one downside to them talking about me ... they remember all my off jokes ... like -- once when the older one was teasing the younger one for eating his buggers, I just said: "that's ok, recycling is great; never let a good bugger go to waste!" ...so now the kid is picking his nose in front of dad saying: "Uncle J. says, 'never let a good bugger go to waste'" ...a little worried some of that is not going to help with custody case.
Possibly. right now the plan is to get her back quick. It will probably help her case if I'm not around though ... not until divorce is final. I can visit of course, but it's just going to be one of those long distance things for a while now.
I'm not worried about us falling out of love, but I will admit that i'm going to miss all the great sex ... never in my life have i been so satisfied in that way. when we are together, we absolutely cannot keep our paws off each other.
Did he have a history of abuse...in record? As in charges/complaints filed etc?
Regardless of what state you're in this doesn't look good. The fact that she didn't show up is why she lost custody. Did the court know where to find her to serve papers? I'm sorry but the court isn't just going to award full custody to an abusive parent in any case. Somethungs up...
