Lmao! That was funny. I'm very goofy except when walking in high heels. That I've mastered for some reason. But I don't like to hear that about myself. My sag ex yelled at me and said, "You're so fucking goofy!". I almost choked him. 😢

And wait a minute...I'm a woman, but I can drive my ass off. IJS...lol

It actually happened to me. I was pullin' an empty 53 footer with a hot rod Freightliner
on what we call "turn and burn" routes, where one driver meets the other driver the half-way
point. I was northbound, going down the grade doin' 50 miles per hour in a 30 mile an hour zone.
30 mph is for the truck lane.
I was in the fast lane. loaded trucks are supposed to gear down and slow down. I was empty and
had plenty of brakes and was doin' fine.
Our yard was in Gardena.... San Pedro is a spit distance away from Gardena where our truck yard.
Kern County didn't see it my way... and I paid the $ 350 speeding ticket and went on my way.
It was the first and only time I ever got a speeding ticket. Pretty damned good luck considering
I've exceeding the limit all over the US for more than 3/4ths of the million+ miles I've driven.
Not trying to sound like a bad ass - just stating the truth.

I "Drove" Trucks all over the continental United States.
I am now retired.
