Not really a love letter, but a moment of warm reflection...
He is cocky and straightforward.
I am intrigued, see potential in this handsome face and warm smile.
He's recalls our first meeting almost a year before.
Tells me of thoughts and regrets he's kept to himself until this day.
I smile inside, but give no sign of interest.
He knows I like him, so there is no need to say it.
My friends smile in silent approval.
He has me and he doesn't know it.
Dinner.
We eat from each other's plate, tell stories from our past, laugh at the stories shared.
He sees something very few ever see.
Stops my heart when he brings it to my attention.
How the f*ck does he know that?
We unintentionally crash a birthday party and dance with 100 new "friends" we probably will never see again.
He says good night. Hugs me tight.
I have him and I don't know it.
Date barely begins. He tries to kiss me.
Awkward as f*ck. Practically puts a dent in my forehead with the brim of his cap.
I yell "wtf?!" slap off his cap, look him in the eye and kiss him gently.
His lips are soft. I could get lost in those lips....I pick up his cap and slap it back on his head, pull it down. He smiles. Says "Okay. Message received". I smile.
We enjoy the night.
Date ends. He takes off his cap and kisses me. Lawd, the man kissed me. Panties drowning in female juices type of kissed me.
