Sometimes, I wonder if women feel like a clown after putting all that icing on their face.

I understand the reasons why, but I am just curious if women who go through the routine of dolling themselves up
get tired of the clown's masquerade.

I didn't feel bad last Friday. I'm normally a clown. With makeup and the nice cloth I had I was serious. Finally a woman.

You need to open this thread on Libra, Taurus, Leo and Virgo board. They are not guilty of being clowns according to Astrology.

Randomly watched a beauty gurus video on Youtube today and as I'm watching, I'm just like...

''Her skin is clear, wth?''

''She looks good, why is she putting on make-up?''

Then she puts on some foundation and stuff and I thought it looked good and thought she was finished... but no.

Then she just starts packing on layers and layers and I'm like...

''Is that even comfortable?''

''I know she's itchy, how does she do it?''

What I thought was the finishing look wasn't and she basically covered all that all up and made another look right on top of a different make-up look. I was just flabbergasted.

you are right. In the process it is much sillier than the end product.

My eyes burn later due to eye shadows. Maybe I should check for a more expensive brand.

Consider this....

If a person was really tired of doing something so mundane such as makeup daily, it is very unlikely that they would continue to do it.

People wear makeup because they choose to do so. It's a form of self expression.

I've been a professional makeup artist for the past 5 years. I never felt like a clown, nor has any client told me that they felt that way.

hope that solves your curiosity.

Crazy because I actually liked what she had before she ruined it. It looked way more natural.

And yes, make-up is very irritating to my eyes also. On top of that, you can't even rub your eyes when they start itching *screams*

I don't wear much ...tinted moisturizer and mascara...sometimes eye liner if I feel like it.

My co-worker commented my makeup looked nice and said "you never wear makeup"

I was like, I wear makeup everyday...............
Not sure if I should take it as a compliment or insult.

I don't wear much either..usually just mascara and some toned moisturizer amd chapstick. On days u feel like going all out, I feel like I transform. However when u do go all out, people tell me I don't need it. So I'm like .... :/

I'd like to see that, sometime.
