Well if your man doesn't know exactly what he wants, the LEAST you can do for him for yourself & own sanity is know exactly what YOU want. If 2 people in a relationship both don't know what they won't, they will always be stuck in the "I don't know" zone until one person steps it up & says enough is enough.
