Virgo Female - Sag Male?

Any experiences? tips? Anything? lol
met a sag guy he's been great
so far we both agreed we just wanted something casual
so far most of his flings end up falling in love with him
wondering where its going.
I just got out of a long relationship with a scorp
not ready to jump in again. hung out once he's great
left him alone for a bit but he kept msging me
telling me i was awesome. we're learning lots from
each other, we're both into sports/fitness.
i had experiences of something casual then the guy
ended up tripping and wanted something more serious
in which case i ran LOL.
if anyone's gonna fall first, it sure isnt going to be me! lol
he's a gentleman which I love, very respectful and can handle my jokes,
and so far he's surprised by my honesty, apparently he hears alot
but usually girls over do themselves and dont deliver, which
so far i have according to him. if something happens it does if not id still
like to keep him as a friend. but not sure if he does that? (I didnt use to but now
i've learned to ease up - seems more of my air signs are coming out in me as i mature)

Oh no no, not like that, my ex and i parted because he cheated. I don't go back on betrayals like that.
we do share kids together but he rarely sees them. when he calls i let him talk to his kids but rarely do
we have a conversation with each other. I dont jump into relationships period, im more of a take it slow kind
of person (my ex went 3 months without getting almost nothing when we first dated then again we were teens)
but it took him a really long time to have me open up. But right now im liking my freedom of not being tied down to anyone.
With the sag i feel i can be me and i can say whatever and he wont get offended or easily wounded like the other one did.
Ive always been one to look on the more positive side of things (scorpio was the opposite which ended up bringing me down over time) but now im back to feeling like me again and it was awesome to see that mr. sag was also very optimistic about life in general which was refreshing =]
we're learning lots off each other. I wont fall first, meaning for me, I dont wear my heart on my sleeve, i'm very gaurded and get to know the person first, I dont get clingy and I do like my space.

But like him I've had some flings that ended up wanting something more. when we agree on something i expect it to be just that, not turned into something else because one couldnt keep their end of the deal (that it wouldnt turn into anything else)
For me, I do like a good story, id rather not tell people "yeah well we started as a fling and..."
for example if it did turn into anything else it'd prob (for me at least) still be more toward the casual level.
(though my friend thinks i dont gotta tell ppl the details of the story buuut it matters to me!)

I was able to keep a great friendship after a fling with a gemini - so something like that would be ideal for me.
