why am I superficial?

People keep saying that I am being superficial.

Is it wrong to care about the looks of other people you are with? Why force yourself to be attracted to someone who is not attractive physically to you?

I'm getting tired of hearing this.

it's not wrong to have preferences. you're just uber-douchy when it comes to the extent of them. essentially, everyone is telling you that you're an asshole and if you hear it enough, it must be true.

I've noticed that people with the same degree of physical attractiveness are attractive to each other.

You probably will not notice someone who is less attractive than you.

After all, you don't see many supermodels pairing up with buck-tooth hillbillys.

Don't worry about what others think.

I know I am not the most attractive person in the world, but I take care of myself. And I expect the person I am with to do the same thing. I also have stopped hanging out with depsressive people. I'm sorry but life is too short to be drug down.

It boils down to what you make a priority when meeting someone. Apparently your comment was made in the midst of a conversation outlining your dating habit. Simply put, while we are individuals, people who are attractive carry the same types of attitudes and don't think to look beyond the surface before getting deeply involves. If you base your attraction on looks being a priority, then you get shallowness or shallowness. You get what you put in. Karma. How you measure others etc

Being superficial is kind of an invitation for nothing more than fast food fun.

You can also surprise men with a sense of humour, intelligence, sharing your own opinions on politics, and overall stuff that will surprise them and keep them interested. Not sure your fake tits or lashes will do the trick in the long run.
