I have to say, when I read your posts, I am like looking over my shoulder to make sure it's not my son talking to me. You two are so similar in attitude that it's uncanny.

Listen, just to let you know because you may take me the wrong way sometimes, but I have this need to delve into the pyschie, what makes people tick, where does an attitude or reaction come from - so, I might ask you things about yourself and really, I'm just trying to understand my son better - so, please don't think I'm bashing you in some way. Curious minds just want to know. If you want to examine a flaw in my character (Pisces traits), I'll be happy to go there, so it's not personal.

Talking about this very thing - I've noticed that like my son, you are exessively confident in yourself to the point of boasting about your abilities. My boy does that too, so, I was wondering - is there like an insecurity deep inside that must be hidden behind a brave and invincible exterior? I know, that most people have a facade, but, really, there's some hidden secret. And, this type of behaviour rings insecurity to me. I'm not a therapist, so I can't say professionally - just curious.

Just an added note here: CancerLady is a really nice person. Sometimes, we all just get carried away with our own experiences - it's not personal! She tries to be very considerate of other people, but . . . I have to say this . . . see, if you get angry or take offense to what she said, then, does that mean that you feel guilty . . .
