are cusps true?

a close friend once told me that i sometimes inhibited signs of a libran and sometimes of a scorpion... im quite confused myself. for years i don't know what i am, because some horoscopes say im libran and some say im scorpion... what gives. i just found out that they call this a "cusps" i don't know if this is accurate because its confusing the heck out of me... my birthdate is 10/23... this site says im scorpion. but some say its libran. what am i really...

in consider my self a scorpion most of the times like traits of possesiveness, jealousy, and emotional... but at times i can show some libra traits...

enlighten me.

I am not a Scorpio, but I was born on the cusp of Pisces/Aries.
I needed to find out once and for all what star-sign I belonged to, so I consulted an astrologer with my specific date, time and location of birth. He said that the sun can only be present in ONE sign at a time. It turns out that I belong to Pisces, and if I am to compare myself to other Pisces and Aries people, I definitely feel more like a Pisces.
Also, I think how you were as a child can indicate this more, as when you are a child you are more yourself, and not putting on a 'persona' of how you want people to see you. The traits of a Piscean child definitley apply to me also - so I think you need to find out once and for all - go and consult an astrologer!

I always thought cusps were true...but, I just read that they are not, as you said you were told, the sun cannot be in two signs at once.

I read that you would need your exact birth time, and latitude and longitude of your place of birth in order for a professional astrologer to calculate it. Astrology.com has a place where you can plug in place and time of birth, I believe....

I also read that the decanates of each sign are true.

i think the time i was born was 9:00 am in the philippines (quezon city to be exact)... i did not know that time and location mattered.

Hi, my boss was born on 10-25--I looked her up in a book that described her as a "Scorlibran". It said that these people tend to be the most critical of all the signs--sorry! But that's what it said. However, I think they are also the successful types, are deep and mean well. It's good to have some Libran in you, really. I think it means that you will be more well-liked--less enemies because you have the Libran diplomacy and peacemaker aspects in you. Consider it a blessing. Basically, in short, you have both Libran and Scorp traits so you may want to read up on both signs.
