Can someone help me understand?

Hi Everyone,

I was hoping someone could help me out, I am totally confused and heartbroken. For 3 weeks I've been seeing a scorpio man, it was almost like love at first site. He was attentine, passionate, funny and of course I thought he was gorgeous. We were both looking for a possible relationship and were a little careful, both afraid of getting hurt.
Anyway, he would text me constantly, compliment me in so nmany different ways, telling me I was awesome, beautiful, incredible etc.
The last few days I can feel him getting distant, infact I sent him a nice text saying that maybe I wasn't the person he was looking for, he text me back a few minutes later stating he was away from him phone, and has not walked away. We started texting again, and now he has vanished into thin air again and I don't understand. He has told me that I'm not doing anything wrong.
I have asked him from the get go that if things weren't going to workout, to please let me know. He replied saying he would always be honest with me.
I am confused and scared, because I fell very deeply in love with him.
I'm an Aries and he is Scorpio. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe he has other things going on in his life that are important so that's why he is not texting you all the time. And you can't know the way he acts just based on his sun sign you need his birt chart for that.

Thank you for your advice. I know he has been hurt, and the last thing I want is for him to feel threatened by me.
