I swear I told myself no more scorpios, but this one has been delightful so far. I have been seeing him for a month now, but I've known him awhile. The last I dated 3 months and within 2 weeks I wanted to kill him. It was a mismatch all around and I blame switching birth controls.

Water cup, he's not old. When I was online dating, I had it so ages 24-35 could message me. However, the majority of my friends are in their 30s-late 40s. It makes sense that if I were to meet someone through friends or in a social setting, they would be older right? The oldest I've dated was a 20 year difference which I agree, was to steep. 13.5 years is a sizable difference, but I don't find it huge. Especially since we associate with the same people and he looks exceptionally good for his age, not a day over 30. Not to mention, he hasn't been married and has no kids. No baggage! I know people my age who have been married she divorced, plus kids. Having been married isn't a deal breaker, but having kids sure is.

I just don't sense ANY Scorpy tendencies from him. He's very Libra, that's what I thought he was before I asked. We just get along very well and everything is very airy, and free flowing. There is no heavy and tense feeling like there was with the last dude. Who was my age, but we didn't have any friends in common and my friends thought he was a tool. Our social circles clashed, and while I think having different friends is fine, I want to be with someone who can get along with my friends. All of my friends already know him, and quite like him.

Here's what you should:

1) Print out your chart on legal sized paper

2) Print out his chart on legal sized paper

3) Using a highlighter, highlight all postive aspects on each chart

4) Using a different color highlighter, highlight all negative aspects on each chart

5) Place both charts side by side

6) After reviewing both charts fully, gather them both up, rip them into a hundred fucking pieces and just do what feels right to you and what makes you happy

But that's just me....

You keep saying 13.5 years is a big age gap, which it is...but my highest was 20. I won't go past 15 now though.

I don't get along with most people my age save the ones I have kept as friends awhile or are in my scene. Most friends in my social circle ARE 30s-late 40s, and the majority of people my age in my group are dating those 8-15 years older than them.

It's her European mentality and age isn't a big deal. This guy looks exceptionally young. And we both want the same thing. I'm not wanting kids or to get married, I'm not into kids and marriage to me is mostly a piece of paper. Maybe if I was with someone 5-10 years would I consider but no kids. And he doesn't want any either. Most my friends in 30s-40s don't have kids, but those in their 20s do.

All I know, is he makes me happy and that's all that counts. I was just asking opinions on the charts. I'm usually very jealous and insecure while dating and I feel totally at ease with him and love spending time with him and our friends. His friends, are the same as mine.

Btw I did date a 38 year old man last year, I was 28 & he was a scorp too. He lied about his age at 1st but when I found out the truth, the age thing didn't matter. Plus he looked good too for his age 😛 ...he wasn't some wrinkled, old prune 😄. The only issue I had was that he was a year+ younger than my sister & I always thought of my sister as a mean old hag 😛 So me dating someone in her age range was a bit creepy for me. I even hid his real age from my family & friends. Unlike you, I live in an age conscious society where everyone a few years older than yourself is looked upon with respect & you're not even allowed to call them by name, etc. So having a lover in an age range you're told to respect is a bit weird.

Anyway good luck with your new romance & don't worry about the charts. You're happy & that IS important.

Where have I been—
Hmmm, well for the past 2 months I have been on a mission in search of a brand new motorcycle.
Though I have narrowed the field of motorcycles, my search is coming down
to a few select brands and models. A Ducati Diavel Carbon, the Ferrari of Motorcycles, a Triumph Bonneville or Triumph Scrambler or... a very conservatively priced Honda CRF250L Dual-Sport (on/offroad) which should sip the petrol most conservatively and possess some deep off-road capability.
For automobiles, I've fielded a Mini Cooper, a Fiat 500 and Toyota Tacoma pickup, each of
which, have my adoration for their various capabilities.

When I move to Hawaii, my life, as I have known it will be entirely different.
Hopefully, for the better.
The island is quite small, no need for the kind of high performance found in high end Sports cars and Sport bikes as there is not enough room to do the kind of driving I have been accustomed to here on the mainland. Also, reduced speed limits and traffic congestion is ever growing there and parking is a premium so a smaller fuel efficient vehicle is high on the priority list. And... it must be practical and sensible. So...........
The Toyota pickup and Honda motorcycle are emerging as strong contenders for my money.
Both brands have been very reliable. Both are practical economical choices for the near term.
Possible future vehicles worthy of my money might be a Cummins Diesel Dodge Ram and the Ducati Diavel. - note these four vehicles are opposite extremes. Ironically, very Scorpionic.
- And the sports cars? Well, If eccentricity prevails, and sufficient loads of cash fell into my lap
Naturally, I'd burn it on a Porsche and a Ferrari. But then... I am torn by my weakness for sailing and flying.

Update: was with him last night until 5 am. We took my car and went to eat, then met up with some of his friends who I hit it off with really well. Then we watched a movie at his place.

We have the masquerade ball on Friday, then a Victorian themed picnic with a bunch of people Saturday. The "church" Sunday, which is like a gothic club but not a club. Next Friday he and his friends are going to one of the most expensive places in dallas. It's an annual tradition for their Christmas dinner but he invited me. It's around $ 120-140 a person! Then the next day I go to florida. So many fun filled activities!

Lavish wine and dining? No, we don't do lavish a lot. Just like to go out. I like how you can just automatically assume he will break my heart though based soley on that. He's pretty tight with his money, he said it wasn't until a few years ago that he even started paying for dates and usually mostly went Dutch etc

And bait for what, anyways? We've already been intimate. We talk non stop and I see him non stop. Practically will be staying all weekend. A lot of our fun events with friends are free etc too, it's more for the social experience I enjoy. We just lead big lives.
