How to Address Cyber Bullying Effectively
Cyber bullying involves intentionally harming others online through hurtful comments or actions. To prevent it, promote respectful communication and avoid name-calling. If you encounter cyber bullying, consider ignoring harmful comments or responding calmly. Supporting kindness online helps create a safer environment for everyone and reduces emotional harm.
So why not give your opinion in a calm, just tone?.

FemmeScorpion you hit a nerve...I'm honest but sometimes the tact is missing, I can on occasion speak before I think but wouldn't consider myself a bully. I think some peeps come on these boards to vent, critisise without meaning to (hands up I've been guilty!)Not everyone visits thinking family, maybe more a case of it's anonymous we can say whatever no-one gonna take it personally but yep they prob do

Some people just wait on others to create a post then they come out from the woodwork and start spreading there hate.
Next time b4 we hit the keypad....stop AND think. What if it was my sister,daughter,neice,friend etc in this position.
How would I advise them etc.

Geez I had some moron bombarding my last thread like crazy...that is not how you deal with people's need for advice...you either give advice or constructive criticism or your simply pass your way...but why bother making fun, using harsh words or useless commenting??
For God's sake...you are wasting your time and the thread poster's time!! Kill 2 birds with one stone...either pass your way or give interesting feedback.
I am not saying that everything people post on these threads are subject to advice...I simply pass along if I have nothing helpful to say!

Well I still think cyber bulling is not neccessary. What drove it home and push me to create this thread,was my younger cousin was at my home last night dxpnet page was up on my laptop and she read a few threads.
She thought it was a thread visited by teenagers and commented "wow some of the stuff said is gross and this is cyber bullying." She asked me if this site was been moderated?
A teenager was condemning our actions,gave me food for thought.

We will never always sing from the same hymn page but as long as you have mutual respect for others and a dose of empathy.

Look she obviously didnt block me coz i saw her post. Then i thought why am i giving her the time of the day.

Regardless of what her sign is I agree with what she said about the bullies on dxpnet. In fact, I don't normally get along with other Scorpios (or other water signs) anyway. 🙂

Am amazed,at the amount of cyber bullies on dxpnet. As a child I have always been told to be honest and treat others with repect.
And that is what I try to do,we are all humans and at times our action hurt others BUT why would one purposely try to hurt others with their comment.
People post on dxpnet to free themselves of emotional turmoil etc. Its the stuff we feel comfortable to share with our dxp audience/family. That we wouldnt feel comfortable sharing with family,close friends,colleagues etc.
So why not give your opinion in a calm, just tone?. Why start calling names and acting like a playground bully??

A kind answer turn away wrath but grevious words stir up anger.
I know am not perfect but each day I want to grow and be a better person.
I have taken onboard what several members have said, and it may take time but each day am beginning to see things clearer.
Dont be so quick to judge others.....yes we may not all agree but if our comments can help someone to change....thats a good thing.
However if our comments cause more pain to others then dear lord help us all.
Because one thing is for certain...we will all reap what we sow.
