I've only been a member of this forum for a couple of weeks, and everytime I post something, I'm often met with "oh, a newbie huh?"

Why is that?

I totally understand that this is where you can be that special someone you can't be in real life, because you are to shy or... Scorpio...
This is where you can tell people exactly what you feel like saying with out that insecurity afterwards (and yes let me have some of that too. I know you can't hold it back 😄 )
This is where all men have enourmous penises and women's breasts take shape to the favor of who ever she is facing. This is where age isn't an issue because if you're 60 you can just pretend you're 20 and people will believe it without thinking twice.
It's where you can stay in your shell and speak in code to those close to you... but how close are they anyway? Do you know what they look like. Would you want to meet them in person? Would you want them to see what YOU actually look like? Probably not...

And my opinion to if I would meet someone I met online.. I have met 3 people in person. But not from this forum. I still keep in touch with 2 of them. One of them is my ex so I don't keep in touch with him anymore.

You are gracefully excepted. I have had some rather questionable comments aimed straight at me upon my arrival and I just like to figure out why.

I complete understand that there also exist people like you who are more of a serious mind and that is all good. I am in deed new and I'm trying to target the group of people that cought my interest in the not so very fasionable way.

So E-gem... my first comment in here was not a quiet whisper in your ear, and I do remember you saying newbie. I'm not claiming that it is a default for aries to be hostile in the way described. The reason why I won't submit exact conversations that I found questionable is that they were pm's, and that's not to be shared publicly. End of story. Feelings are often involved when people react to each others insults and teasings, and that only makes matters more entertaining. Wouldn't you say?

Being part of it, and excuse me if I appear rude, intrigues me a bit. I mean not to hurt or insult anybody in this forum, but if I fail to go by this guideline I'm sure I will be notifyed. It has happened more than once already - and for that I am sorry.
However, as I mentioned and almost asked people their opinion on earlier, isn't this semi annonymous environment exactly the reason we are here? Isn't it becasue we get to poke at issues we wouldn't normally address? We try to get further under the skin than we normally would face to face, simply because the risk of losing our teath to the consequenses are equal to non, yes?

We like having this pseudo authority when either creating a thread or posting on one. Futhermore, we get to speak open minded and uninterrupted and will only be ignored when peope fail or choose not to read our posts, which honestly is a rare event.
The risk of losing one self to this environment, atmosphere if you will, is eaqually intriguing, and many have fallen into the trap. I'm getting close to it my self. I can't withstand the urge to just peak inside and see what kind of reaction I get to my freeminded comments and my own unique, partially uncensured fashion of speach. I enjoy having my many assets unleashed to see how they are greeted. Don't we all?

And is it really uncommon for people and dxp'ers in general to withhold and censur themselves now that they/we can speak through a curtain of canvas we get to color or have reveal only as much as we want others to see?
