Female Scorpio loves to tell me about her dating history

A little background: She is in her mid 20s, I (a man) am in my early 30s. She and I have become very good friends, but for a decent part of our friendship she has been almost pathological in telling me stories, usually funny, about all the guys she has dated. She has said her dating history is definitely “something to make fun of.” But sometimes it seems like an ego driven exercise (e.g. she was able to get such and such a guy in college). She’s been with the same guy for years and is now engaged, and seems perfectly happy with that. I’m just interested in any thoughts as to why she’d want to share these stories with me beyond just having a laugh.

Why do you think there is beyond?

Under which circumstances her engaged ass getting together with you for story time?

Are you dressed up when she tells stories?

I have a cancer moon and I do the same sometimes. Nostalgia is fun to indulge in. Laugh at how silly I’ve been and where I’ve changed and grown.

It’s a way to stroke my own ego a bit while being thankful for the life I have now.

I wouldn’t put much more thought than that into it.
