first meet after brokeup

The day before yesterday, we met because I need a document from him that he wrote me and updated something new on that.

Before we met, I initiate to contact him because of the document. He knew I just came back, he told me he only give me the document in person, (because I told him he can send it to my old address, but he denied), I felt he is still very aggressive to "need someone follow his lead". Also, he asked me, is there a problem to meet or see him again, I said no. He said he has an impression about that. Finally, I had to go to his place for the document.

I can see he just cleaned up his place, clean floor without any dust. He behaved politely and tried to ask my recent life at the beginning. I didn't answer a lot about my life then I asked about the document, but seems like he didn't finish that, I sent him again and did that in person (but he told me he has done that, man!). Then he asked my plan, that he want to know can we work together ( for doing some projects etc). He looks not happy when I told him I may leave for a few weeks again.

I tried to say I could work in somewhere that is not a problem but just can not make a promise for him right now.

In the meeting he still asked my life and how was going. I got the document from him and then he made an excuse (he made a joke of renew his hair style ) and then I left.

I am not going to make a new hope get together with him again. Be honest, he was trying to show me he got something new and better, but I still can see his bad temper when something didn't go well, still very aggressive and so controlling.

That makes me I don't like talk with him in person and see his face, but he replies me in Whatsapp very briefly.

He is playing it cool, should I play cool too? I just want to have a normal conversation.
