'My birth sign is Scorpio and they eat themselves up and burn themselves out. I swing between happiness and misery. I am part prude and part nonconformist. I say what I think and I don't pretend and I am prepared to accept the consequences of my actions.'

- Vivien Leigh (November 5, 1913 - July 8, 1967)

'You know the passage where Scarlett voices her happiness that her mother is dead, so that she can't see what a bad girl Scarlett has become? Well, that's me.'

Oh, what an intriguing enigma she was.

although I still wonder how on earth Grace Kelly survived married to a Gemini Man :/

I'm often wondering that myself about my mother.. although she's a Capricorn..

I'm shocked that I haven't torn him to pieces.. I've never met a man so insanely dramatic and attention starved..

... I'll drop my tangent before I get on a roll. πŸ˜›

Her and Grace Kelly always fascinated me. Grace Kelly more so though. I only found out later they were Scorps.

I share a birthday with both Grace Kelly and Charles Manson... I always figured that explained everything... πŸ™‚

Ah both such fascinating woman, although I still wonder how on earth Grace Kelly survived married to a Gemini Man :/

Probably Prince Rainier had a lot of Pluto aspects in his chart? Usually those with a lot of Pluto aspects in their chart are more Plutonian (or Scorpionic) than those with signs in Scorpios.

or probably Grace Kelly just really loved him. Love can do that. πŸ™‚

Grace Kelly, I had known her as an actress in movies but read this book and you will really sense her spirit and presence.

She is quite the Scorpio through and through, I have already dog marked numerous pages throughout this book already-

The Bridesmaids. Grace Kelly. Princess of Monaco & Six Intimate Friends....by- Judith Balaban Quine

although I still wonder how on earth Grace Kelly survived married to a Gemini Man :/

She didn't she had a stroke while driving his offspring. I think it was more of an arranged marriage or some contract between them. I saw footage of the wedding and she looked so scared. Not happy and in love.

My mother is a strong ass woman, and had been a single mother (just me from her) for 16/17 years before she met him. He has divorced THREE times and has calmed down in his falsehoods quite a bit. He's a pastor and holistic, and honestly they make a great match. He helps her be silly, and they both love to explore - like typical for their signs. (our family is very worldly compared to most around here). He's never travelled before her.. she even took him to Disney - too cute. I get along with Geminis if they're loyal, mostly females though. It sounds to me that the females may sense you as a threat to their 'territory' (whatever it might be - unfounded of course). Gemini females are quite territorial as well as female Sags to some extent.

It may sound silly, but I thought this since female dogs and cats tend to not like me for similar reasons. But, only if they have me in their 'domain' and are the youngest female in the home. I talked to my dogs' vet about it and he said most mammals can sense hormones from young females and will become territorial with instinct.

Weird.

Well, well, well, both these beautiful women have the Scorp Sun/Venus Libra combo...I knew it wasn't that bad. πŸ˜›

Probably the reason they got along well with their Gemini matesπŸ˜‰ I read somewhere that Vivien suffered from Bi-polar disorder...she died of TB...she was a heavy smoker and drinker. I followed her career for years. Beautiful woman and an amazing stage actress. Many credits under her belt, on film and on stage!

Yes, you are correct. She also resented her beauty, as well.

Scorpio Sun With Venus in Libra:

It can be a challenge to be a naturally inward-oriented person who best expresses affection by being outgoing. Venus in Libra thrives on conversation and traditionally romantic escapades. Dating a Scorpio with Libra Venus sign may be confusing, for your date may alternate between being broody/withdrawn and cheery/playful. You might be wrong in assuming that he doesn't like you. After a fun excursion, he simply may need to retreat to inhabit his world of feelings. You are best off respecting his different impulses, instead of expressing needy insecurity about how much he loves you.

I don't think she resented it but knew how much harder she would have to work to prove herself not just another "Pretty-Face"!

All the women that had some real stock back then, had to prove themselves constantly in order to be taken seriously....

Joan Crawford
Bette Davis
Claudette Colbert
Marlene Dietrich

Don't even get me started on the black women of those times
Dorothy Dandridge for one, another talented beauty!!

Mm, resent may be a stronger word for you than I hold it.

Oh, Bette Davis
