How well do you think scorpios do with motivating others?

Very well. I will be the first to rattle off the things I dislike about my sign but scorpios are some of the most resilient people which is motivating in itself.

I mean you can teach by action, but I mean a combination of both action & speaking to instill inspiration outside of themselves

Just asking cuz alot of their behaviors seem self motivated

I’m a nurse so it’s something I do almost daily, encouraging and motivating patients to make life style changes to improve their health, strength and mobility. But even before becoming a nurse it was part of my personality to uplift and motivate.

I like it

I personally only motivate those I love and respect. The others are greeted with my back and wind. I won't bother otherwise.

How?

I just help them. Let them know how I feel the best way to progress is. If it's something like a gf wasting time on a wasteful p.o.s, then I'll tell her what I think he's doing to her and help her rebuild herself.

My ex had no desire to work I'd tell him that if we were to have kids, our kids would need a good/motivated role model as a father as well the mother.

Things like that.

What did you want to prove?

I’m not sure how you use the word self motivated, but to be self motivated rather than motivated by others is much more admirable IMO.
