It seems to be off side.. especially on the righter part. π It's best to cut her hair properly.
Well, her reply to me saying wait was to sneak off into the bathroom and cut it herself

So, my little Scorpy daughter wanted her hair cut even shorter. I just had 3" cut off a month ago. I asked her if we could just wait till closer to school so she could have all summer to think about the style she wanted. She's 8 and this was her reply this morning.

This reminds me when I wanted to give myself a fringe at 9 years. So I did. But I didn't like it so I cut it off and had a patch on my head.

She did a pretty good job of it (way better than I do when cutting hair....which is why I don't cut hair!). Let her wear it as short as she wants. School is almost out, summer is hot (and humid over there), she'll either love it and keep it or decide she wants to grow it out. Good for her for knowing what she wanted to do and going for it. She's got a strong mind. π

Unless a kid wants a haircut that isn't approved by their school it's not something I'd fight them on. They'll learn what they like and it teaches independence, makes them feel important that they have a say about something. Since it's not harmful to them then let kids have some fun with it, but that's just my opinion (because cancer moms are cool that way lol).

I was totally cool with her wanting to cut her hair. I was more upset that she didn't wait than her actually cutting her hair. She's so stinking cute that I can rarely get upset with her. She definitely has the manipulation game down early. π

She definitely does what she wants. She did pretty good. I was impressed
My Scorp Sun/Aqua Moon sister and I did this as kids, and my Sag Sun/Leo Moon mom handled it so wonderfully, as you did. She gasped, told us not to disobey her again, and then helped us not look like we'd been at our heads with a butcher knife. One of my fondest memories π

She looks soooo pleased with herself! That is so cute! I'm Scorp sun with Sag rising. We certainly have an adventurous streak! Apparently I used to question EVERYTHING when I was a kid. Very head strong. You should be a very proud Leo dad. Love it!

I did this more then once as a kid. Instead of waiting to get my hair cut I would just do it myself. She did fairly good. I used to just put it in a ponytail and chop it off lol.
