Is Shutting Down When Liking Someone Common for Scorpio Men

Many Scorpio men become more reserved and cautious when they develop feelings for someone. This behavior stems from their intense emotions and desire for control. It's a common trait for Scorpios to analyze their actions and guard their feelings to protect themselves emotionally.

When im friends with a girl i have no problem talking to her or anything. But when i start to like a girl, i start to shut down and become quiet and i start to analyze everything i say. Is this common for scorpio men?

Its called fear of failure, just worry about being yourself and you will be fine.

This is very accurate.

If you're not being yourself then how can someone love YOU? If you're analyzing yourself and becoming a clam, then you're censoring your true self.

And also, some Scorpio guys that I've been close with or dated seemed to be that way if without much dating experience. That's okay. Just please be easier on yourself and you'll gain confidence as you practice that more. 🙂

I think this could be one of the Scorpio traits. But many men experience this. Perhaps a fear of rejection. I would also say experience could be a factor too. Maybe some shyness. Like Fire-Water said, be yourself.

The Scorpio men that I have encountered tend to be very smitten, eager, trusting and aggressive toward me. However, I become more aloof until I see I can trust them too. I like them, they can be very fun and bring out my best. I love how jealous they get too.

Now that I think about it, I have noticed some shyness with these men. Even the more assertive ones had a touch of shyness. Especially when it came to romantic feelings. So yes I think it's normal.

Yup, I have to agree...romance wise, there's a shyness to even the most hard bodied Scorps I know. Dunno if coy is a better word...it comes off as secretive and mysterious or defensive but you can feel the fear behind it.

It's like come-to-bed eyes/don't you DARE reject me heart, lol

I like what nimbue said. This isn't just men though. I start to like someone and I get really reserved and more observant at first, even if we were friends first. Takes some time to start talking like we did before again.
