I feel that it is kind of important to share from personal experience.. Otherwise it's just like you are talking out of your ass. I think it's nice to be able to relate to people when giving or accepting advice.. I likely wouldn't follow advice from someone who hadn't been down the same path in regard to what they were giving me advice about.
Yea! EXACTLY, I agree... so why do Scorps have so many haters?? tha fuckkkk

I never talk out of my ass I will tell you you real shit if I’m comfortable with you.
Ya same here, I can be deadly blunt and truthful. but its always with good intentions...
shit does come out of your ass, just saying :-P
Sharing is relating, to an extent that is good because it shows empathy, sympathy, and compassion.
However wildflower, more importantly, as I have learned, is to listen.
More often than not, when people seek your advice. They rather you pay attention and truly listen to what they are telling you, than to hear your story instead.
People share, to be heard, advice, usually comes later.

So you are covering it by being so ‘talkative’? Don’t want your true colors to be shown? Gotcha!

When giving advice, telling a story do you find yourself telling stories you've lived through in order for the person you are telling to get it? I realized that I learn through other's experiences BUT people seem to feel that making the story about us is self-centered. So obviously, they aren't getting it.Do you share in order to show? Or are we really that damn egotistical and make everything about us? LOL
hmm i do this alot and i'm not a scorp.
i need to understand, so it's my way of relating.
it might be because i'm a dominant 1st houser.
can't feel or orate a story if i don't relate to it. otherwise it sounds like you're talking out of your ass.
Yes, I can totally relate. I used to do this all the time until my husband, at the time, told me my advice isn't helping because I just make it about me. So I've been conscious of trying not to do it TOO much. And trying not to say things like "yea ME TOO" or tell my version of the story. And I can attest to it being annoying because my taurus boss does it to me all the time, once she starts talking about herself and her experience she doesn't stop, and everytime I find myself thinking "...ok but this isn't about you." Just keep it broad and don't personalize it too much, even tho you might share the same experience.
