Match made in heaven or Hell? Scorpio and Cappie

Okay sooooooo there's this new guy ive been flirting with.....As u can see i tend to love them and leave them fairly quickly or either they cant match my strong personality(in regards to my other post).
But ive met this scorpio guy who has me completely smitten with him. there's not much of a story to tell. we met online, but we go to the same school. he's been realllly persistant about wanting to see me, i guess that could be his scorpio nature. its flattering and annoying at the same time( im a leo sun aqua Venus). anyway he has really been trying to get me to give him the time of day, but he comes off as a player and im being very cautious abt seeing him. but i have a very strong attraction to this man. the type that lets me know that it would be very hard to separate my feeling from being intimate with him. i feel that he is only chasing me because he wants to sleep with me. anywhoo i dont really have a specific question i was just wondering if u guys could give me some insight about how i should head into this situation.

i would never *innocent face*. i actually like the guy. but i must admit that im enjoying the fact that he is chasing me.lol. thats def my leo moon soaking all this flattery up. did i mention he was younger than me. i like him enough to come out of my bubble to get to know him, im just wondering why he is being SO persistent. im pretty sure he is just trying to get laid....

*sigh* I just found out that my Scorpio love no longer works in the same building as I do. He moved to another location, and got another position. He's been gone since the beginning of May, and I'm wondering if me parading around work with a Taurus guy made his move a little easier. That's partly what I'm talking about. I was the same way around the Scorpio at work. It's like I was on mute, extremely cautious of my words, which resulted to me never saying much of anything. He threw me off a bit when around, and I would become a little pretentious in a way, so I regret that.

I have a Mercury in Cap too. I just told my Taurus friend the reason I'm so quiet is because I offend everyone when I talk lol. I mean as soon as I open my mouth I offend someone, and I don't mean it. It's just I'm pretty direct and don't know how to really soften what I'm trying to say, or how I'm trying to say it.

The way we met was really strange. I walked into this outside type bar and I swear my eyes went right towards him within the first 5 seconds. He was BEAUTIFUL. I agree with elle, his world probably stops spinning when you're around. That's what happened with me and this cap. You definitely have the upper hand here. I was like putty in this Cap's hands, 'till I woke up, lol.

So, its been my mercury cap this entire time? Lol. I also feel like everytime I open my mouth I offend ppl. As I'm growing I have become more of a reserved person when it comes to voicing my opion. Its has avoided a lot of unnecasary drama imo.

He seems like a really nice guy so far, I don't really know the word to describe it, sweet and kind of intense. I say intense bcuz of the way he is so persistent in calling and txting me, I haven't had a guy act this way in a very long time. And I'm surprised that I like it. Maybe bcuz he doesn't seem soft and mushy. he's still a VERY masculine man. That is extremely attractive to me.he txt'd me good morning the other day and asked when we were going to hang out. I keep telling him how busy I am with work and school which is the truth. Its hard for me concentrate on dating becuz I'm so busy working all the time. But I enjoy working and I like being financially dependent on no one but myself. And he calls or txt me abt every couple of days to ask when we will hang out, even after I've said "ill let u know" a million times.he's not annoying me or anything, I've just never seen a guy this persistent. He also told me that he would make sure to make time for me whenever I'm available. That made me want to slow down and take the time to get to know this guy. I've promised myself I would see him this weekend, even tho I'll be working the next 14 days...

One thing that puts me off with him is that the image that he seems to put off, seems very different from the guy who is chasing me. It kind of makes me cautious. Non relationship related, but a coincidence nontheless...

Now I've ignored my sisters Scorpio ex for the past 6-7yrs now. He's still in our lives because she has a child by him, so he's around often, but I can't say the last time we've spoken to each other. They had a very turbulent relationship, and I literally hated him at one point, so our relationship died a long time ago. Well tonight, of all nights, he's around and a bit tipsy. My niece comes in hitting me and I tell her to stop, and he says "oh, she hits you a lot?" and I reply "yes." This is the first time we've exchanged words in years, mind you, so he continues "do you ever think that there's a possibility she hits you because you don't speak to me?" I chuckle a bit and ignore. My mother and I talk about bills and he jumps in saying how he'll help pay, then he goes on to say how although me and him don't talk he respects me, and how I play the good girl and he respects that and that's why he won't let any of his friend "holler" at me, and he'll direct them to my sister(his ex) before me. I'm like wth? Then he goes on to say how we connect through the mind, and how he loves me and respect that. He's borderline drunk at this point and keeps rambling, including me in his ramble lol, but I'm just like wow, all this is interesting.

Goes to show, there is definitely something about Capricorns and Scorpios. I never wanted to kill someone in my life, and I didn't want to kill him, but there was a time where I felt I could care less if anything bad happened to him. I've never been like that with anyone. Those feelings are about 85% gone now, but even after all these years, for me to completely ignore him the way I have, and for him not to hate me can say a lot. I can't believe of all people we(our family) is stuck with him around. He loves that too.

Ok, feel bad now because that had nothing to do with your thread lol, but i guess I can say that it can definitely be a match made in $ % # $ if things go sour, however, at the end of the day, there's respect and through it all the two of you won't hate each-other as hard as you would someone else.

U girls are scaring me. My last relationship was a drama filled, up and down emotional roller coaster ride. My ex was a cap sun,merc,and Venus. With a mars in scorp and moon in sag. The sex was amazing but we drove each other crazy. I think it was the Venus cap/venue aqua thing. We both we sort of cold to each other. He was possessive, but tried to appear nonchalant to every thing I did and said. It annoyed the crap out of me and I would become very mean with him. The relationship was hell. I have remained single for awhile because when I think abt a relationship, I only associate bad feelings. The one thing I can say abt that relationship is it really made me appreciate my independence. This dude always wanted me to drop everything for him and yet didn't feel like he should take the time to try to define our relationship. Hell No. Find another fool. It was hard to let go, but I did. And that relationship helped me grow and get to kno myself better more than any relationship I've ever had.
I can honestly say that at this point in my life I just want a peaceful, somewhat(but not too much) affectionate, honest, fun, friendship that somehow turns into a relationship. My sound boring to some but after my last two relationships I think its exactly what I need.

okay so now that we know that his Venus is in Sag and not scorpio. Wat on earth is driving this man to be so persistant in chasing me? lol. i tried to make plans to see him this wknd, and he txt'd me syaing he had to go out of town to see his fam. but then he adds "I really want to see you". is it his cap moon? lol i beginning to wonder if he's only interested because its something new

I read a similar story from a Cappie lady about a scorpio male that was really persistent and made all of these comments about how he wanted to see her, but never made it happen.

I find it odd that you finally make time and now he has somewhere to go. If you really want to see a person you are going to drop everything to make it happen, and now that I think about it, that goes both ways. I hate to go there, but you initially blowing him off a bit probably bothered him. I remember within days of talking to the Scorpio at work, he invited me to a car and bike show, and I didn't go. His attitude slowly changed after that. I think both signs are similar in thinking they are special, therefore taking it a bit personal if someone decline our offers or rejects us in anyway. All I'm saying is keep an eye on that infamous push/pull. I just find it odd him going somewhere this weekend when yall had plans, like he's going to make sure the two of you won't be scheduled only around your time.

But I could be wrong.

i dont really get the feeling that he is playing games. but u guys could def be right because im always aloof to these types of things. i dont really get mad when ppl blow me off because im sure i can find a better way of entertaining myself ALONE. lol. if he is playing games he is doing it in a very passive aggresive way, which doesnt work well with a person like me because i dont recognize passive aggresive ppl, honestly i never can pick up when a cancer is upset with me, i need words. lol. he told me he was thinking about going out of town this wknd on thurs, i told him that he if didnt go he wold def see me, he txt'd me last night saying he decided to go because he wanted to see his niece, but that he really wanted to see me. i said "ill still be here when u return inshallah(god-willing)", he tried to set a date, he seems as if he wants me to promise him a certain date, but i cant do that because i never set dates, i jus go with the flow. this guy doesnt seem like the typical male scorp that u all talk abt. he's leaving no mystery for me, he's showing all his cards(or is he?), he is VERY pressed to see me, he txts me almost everyday. thats why im trying to see what is influencing his pursuit, his placements of cap moon and scorp sun, would make me think he would be a little more laid back, a lil more push/pull. so im guessing his venus sag is driving him, because im new and exciting. its so wierd. lol

This still sounds a lot like the Cap who had a Scorpio be very persistent with her, and they still have not met. If you can, try to set a date. Surprisingly, it seems that we can be some very go with the flow type of people when it comes to relationships. Or is that just me lol? If you want to see him when he gets back then tell him a date. I know what you mean too by not recognizing passive-aggressive behavior. I'm sure I drive people mad when I don't pick up on what they are trying to do, or what they want. It's like just SAY IT ALREADY!!! lol.

Inana's right, I admit I've felt that way too. We agree that you guys are important but we also consider ourselves important and so we'll only give you so much of your way before taking it back for ourselves. Thxbutnothx is also right in saying the Scorpio will usually submit, but not so much in the beginning when our guard is still up.

On the flipside, he could have honestly had plans with his family ahead of time. Is this the first time it has happened?

And that's how that push/pull mess all begins. It's like nobody wants to budge, and I've noticed that Scorpios and even Taurus guys are both persistent, but they will stop at a point so you can take over. It's like they will not go past a certain point, and maybe that's just concerning Cap women. I've only got to the limit with both, and I stop there right with them, so unfortunately, nothing happens lol.

You gotta be lucky that you and your Cap are far from the initial stages!

yeah, I see what you mean. like there's no rush...

I'd put a lot of the blame on the Capricorn for it not working. The Scorpio I liked started out very persistent and you could tell he was extremely interested. It was me who was unsure, one minute hot and the next completely cold. I think that a lot of Cappys are sure of what they want outside of relationships, but within a relationship or when interested in someone, we seem to only be sure of what we DON'T want. I think we, or maybe just me, struggle with the wants and needs when with someone. Ive noticed that if the right Cap meet the right Scorpio, the chemistry does not go away. I went for months without seeing him and my feelings, when finally seeing him again, only grew more intense, but maybe that's my scorpio venus talking lol.

I def think that's ur scorp venus talking lol. I'm very clear to men abt the fact that I don't kno what I want. I don't dream of a relationship, nor have I ever sat down to think abt what I want in a relationship. I always end up in relationships by mistake.lol. That usually when I'm like wait, are we talking abt forever? *as I'm reaching for the door* lol. I don't think I'm a hot and cold cap. I'm direct and to the point. I probably seem hot and cold in a relationship bcuz I am hot and cold. That's human nature! This is the HUGE difference btwn aqua and scorps. i mean yea i love intense, passionate, mind consuming love, just as much as the next person, but it takes time to build. This is why i love being friends first. They say that most aqua's only fall in love once and i believe this is true, because as we get older ppl dont try to take the time to really get to know a person(Which takes a lifetime) yet u want me to commit so much time and energy into you and this relationship? FOR WHAT i ask? it may seem like im playing him hot and cold, but in my mind im simply treating him like a person i just met. having a REAL relationship with this man is soooooooooooooooooooooo far from my thoughts. why? because i dont kno him. im just wired that way. i guess thats why his persistence behavior seems wierd to me. makes me wonder who he was so into 2 weeks before he met me.maybe its a Venus aqua thing, maybe its a SheDevil thing.


FYI: this is not a rant towards anyone.just a little frustration through the keys lol

now.....im praying to GOD that this man has a strong venus in SAG, because i could really send this man on a loop if he doesnt take the time to try and understand me.
