Wow, maybe next time I'll have a Scorpio little girl. I thought Scorpio and Libra cannot understand each other?
My mum is a Scorpio - I mean she would die for me and even more, but I can't imagine having a mini Scorpio *girl*

My relationship with my mum is turbulent at best, but it is a very close bond. I even thought my Lib/Sco is an extension of my mum in a way.

My mom was a gemini with a scorpio moon. LOL Manipulation was her middle name 🙂 We had a turbulent relationship at times, but she was still my best friend and a strong woman in the beginning. I admired her before her addictions. She became someone else after her addictions, but I still love her nonetheless. 😢 R.I.P mom dukes.

My mother was quite emasculating when I was younger, and we fought constantly. Frankly, it was a house with no love for a what felt like too long. I felt a lot of her pain but never any affection. I put her through hell with all my criminal troubles and caused her a lot of heart-ache. It's been a great relationship as of recently (last 3 years or so).

She can still be quite mean to me. And she is rather moody at times, which I can't stand. When she is that way, I lose respect for her just a little bit each time. As long as we don't test each other we are fine. But when we used to fight, things got very ugly.

For some reason, this has effected my relationships I've noticed. My mother and I got along the least when she had her own business and was making money. She put a lot of emphasis on money and how it brings stability to everything. She is right. But she may have put too much emphasis on it, as I've come to adopt her beliefs on the matter. And when she was doing well financially, she had no time for me and my feelings. She hated emotions of any kind, and I learned growing up that emotions were counter-productive. Now, I tend to be attracted to women who are in-need of financial stability in life and are just a dab of materialistic. At the same time, I harbor a certain amount of hate for the woman who is financially independent, and doesn't require a certain balancing aspect of some degree.

But I adore the woman who adores me, and can handle who I am. One who works with me and is my partner in life, love, and happiness. In this scenario, I can see a good balanced relationship. And a little sense of humor isn't so bad either. Because I'm a goof ball.

Darn, I'm a Cappie with a Leo moon. Your mother sounds a lot like my Cappie grandmother. She raised six kids as a single parent, worked 40hrs a week, and went to school on the weekends. She provided extremely well for all of them. She had 2 Gemini's, 1 Capricorn, 1 Aries and 2 Cancers. The two Cancers, one being the oldest of all of her kids, are the two that complained the most about her parenting. The oldest Cancer had the hardest life, which is sad because he was basically a genius in school. I'm assuming that Cappies are a little too cold as parents for water signs.

Glad to hear you and your mother are on much better terms now.

My mom is a Libra. We did not get along at all, but no one really got along with her in our house. I did not understand her and she did not understand me. We are just two completely different people. Of course I love her, but she knew how to make our lives miserable. I'm more of a daddy's girl. He's a Cancer and most of the time he'd come to me when he was having problems with my mother. He would always say, "I just don't understand her." I felt so bad for him. She depressed him because he didn't measure up. No one could really measure up to her standards though. My brother who is an Aries, well, we used to fight all the time when we were younger. We will butt heads from time to time, but we are so much closer today than we ever were. However, my brother and my mother....complete knock down drag outs!



You gotta give it to them Libra women though. The guys never seem to leave their side once married to them. I remember being on another board and a Libra was complaining about her Cancer husband and how he doesn't walk next to her in the grocery store, and he wasn't like her friends husbands. She said all of these wonderful things about him, but she didn't pay attention to any of that, it was the small things that she acted like she couldn't get past. I was like "wow!" From what I see, they are very socially ambitious women with high standards and when they want to move forward with something they will push their men, and kids, until they make it happen.
