jk aside..I don't think it's a good idea to give out one's personal info (i.e., home address in this case) to someone the one hardly knows .. not that one cannot track another down, if the one sets one's mind.. but still .. who knows how personal info would be used and for what purpose? (even if someone doesn't appear on your front door with a knife..)
