Is anyone else getting hammered by this transit? Saturn just went
past my Mars at 24 Libra, and now it is on top of my Neptune at 2
Scorpio, and is just coming into orb with my Sun, which is at 8 Scorpio.

Thanks for the good word, Elle. It has been a difficult (Saturn) and confusing (Neptune) time for me,
but I do appreciate Saturn's restriction as guidance-toward-Spirit.
Many distractions were stripped away from my life, in an effort to get me look more deeply-within.
It's been rough and I have felt panicky, at times, but the depth-of-peace that I experience in
my meditations has improved.
I would also like to thank my lucky stars, because crucial help came when I absolutely needed it,
so things could be a whole lot worse. It is actually a good feeling to know that Spirit has not
given up on me, in regards to spiritual improvement.

xdimplez, One thing Saturn has stripped away is my social life. I moved to a small, country town in May, where (I suppose) I am viewed as an "outsider". Some people will say hi to me, but not much beyond that. I know that I have to to learn to love, more, and that would be the transformation that I need. It is all-for-the-best, then. I understand what Saturn (in co-operation with Neptune) is doing, and I have to reach inside to find out what I have that is truly valuable and even transforming.
So, everyone is acting strictly in accord with the way I would expect them to act (toward a Scorpio, or Plutonic type) during a Saturn transit in Scorpio.
Elle, it is really interesting how you seem to have had an intuitive awareness of what was going on. Maybe as though you had gotten a glimpse of it, beforehand?
Scorchedearth, make sure you plan ahead to soften the blows. Time is with you!

Personally i'm loving it! Saturn in Libra was painful trying to weigh thru all that crap that was no longer needed.
I feel that Saturn in Scorpio is about cleaning house and so much has already gone. see ya! It is also very happy with the transit of my Aquarius Jupiter, sitting all cozy at home in it's natal 12th house.

I just recently realized that in my chart, I have Saturn in the 8th house.
Saturn is in my 12th house and 1st house....im guessing this is not a good place for it to be?? Unless im reading my chart wrong ..which is a very good possibility lol

My Saturn is in Libra too... so far I've been focused on changing jobs, while tring to balance love matters with my Scorp. (its no easy task)...I feel pulled from all directions. I may have to change my cellphone number too. Starting a new page. Time to make new friends too.

Oh, wow. I'm so confused! Someone explain! lol
ScorpSuperior, I was joking. I went without food, mail, social interaction, tv, computer,telephone, transportation for most of the months of Sept and Oct. at my new apartment Also, my mail was so fouled-up that most of my stuff got sent to people who live at my prior address(es) (Saturn rules the past).
If my friend had not given me a couple of his hubbard squashes, I would have been in trouble.
I understand what Saturn was trying to do though, removing the distractions so that I could (finally?) look inside
and partake of real spirituality.
I still have an empty apartment, but I will be moving (again) in Dec. to a community that is large enough (and hopefully friendly enough) to offer me some interaction. I have some food now, and I got a bath towel and some winter gloves, so things are better. My meditation has improved.

Im dealing with Saturn on my Pluto at 2 Scorpio right now. Its making me feel like I'm having a mini Saturn Return and Im grateful for it. Its like I can see into the future getting ready for my Saturn return in Scorpio.
Pluto in Capricorn is in Mutual Reception with Saturn in Scorpio right now... Should make it easier.
Saturn and Pluto are in what's called —mutual reception?? now. Saturn is in Scorpio, ruled by Pluto, and Pluto is in Capricorn, ruled by Saturn. This binds the effect of the two planets together for the next few years which may seem somewhat terrifying when we think about these two planets as being the Lords of Death (Saturn was considered the Lord of Death before Pluto??s discovery when Pluto took on that role). And it's true that if you look upon life as a superficial journey of fun and parties, this will not be an easy time. Then again, the —easy time?? really ended back in 2008 when
Pluto left Sagittarius for Capricorn, stripping our lives of superficialities that lacked a solid foundation.
But if you are on a journey of self-discovery and fulfillment, this is an incredible time as the barriers towards self-awareness are stripped away and we find the real jewels of our personal resources: our inner strength and the root of our soul??s power. This is a period of shamanic transformation: of awakening the inner spirit and releasing it to fly freely and unencumbered by illusion. Pluto and Saturn are not only in mutual reception, but they are in a harmonious sextile to each other offering support and encouragement in the process.
We will be further aided in this process by a series of harmonious planetary cycles linking Saturn to other planetary gods. Saturn is currently in a harmonious trine to Neptune and Chiron which helps us to link our ideals and spiritual experience (Neptune) with the more practical aspects of our lives (Saturn) and facilitates the healing of old wounds (Chiron). I agree with you shellshocker ever since Saturn left Libra I have been feeling like Im able to breathe again. My Moon is in the 12th I enjoy it there. Jupiter is unaspected in Gemini right now I noticed. Its trine to my Jupiter in Aquarius too.
