Scorpio and Death

My roommate who is a Scorpio with a Virgo Moon died last night, I saw him die in front of my eyes to a heroin overdose, I was able to save him before but this time it was too late as he had gone too long without oxygen.

I am a Cancer with Pisces moon and I felt like I tried everything as a friend to get him off it. Tried to get him just to smoke pot and took him to Colorado for medical weed and Florida last summer when he was depressed. I tried to as non judgemental as possible. He always told me he was distrustful of people but that i was a good guy and it meant alot as I know he was a good judge of people's true character.

He was the brother of my Cancer/Leo friend and we had never been friends before but I felt like he was a misunderstood person who could cheer anyone up. He had the best sense of humor and had me laughing in the ways only a Scorpio knows how.

I guess I am asking how would Scorpios want people to look at their death, how could I honor them or would they want that? I am a double water so I guess I just know I am going to miss him longterm and analyse his death from now on in some way.

I would want people to be happy for me.Death for me is liberation...peace..freedom. I sure wouldn't celebrate someone else's death.That is pain.But I want people to know I didn't not want it.Death doesn't scare me.. never did.I probably wouldn't kill myself though.. I would embrace it whenever.
