Interesting. I don't know much about the 10th house, just that is the "work" house. Mine is empty but in Aqua. I'm curious as to what the experts will say.

I'm not an expert but I believe it means what I pasted above. The type of "work" you will do....your life purpose.

Wow thats interesting. So you may be 10th house dominant. This is a house that requires focus for you.

6th House is defining for Work (among other things).10'th house - has more to do with career, which indeed - can imply work as well but - it's the kind of work - you're in-tune with - something you find fitting to be defining for your public image.

It means, career is of utmost importance in life, and that we feel *alive* when accomplishing, working, being productive, when we are working for our goals 🙂 I'll also say that when we are working for family, to make someone like family or father figure happy/proud, earn your family's (or authority figure) respect by being useful to them..

I have sun and venus in 10th too:-)

Whatever house your sun is placed in the house that shines.. Is the house that can satisfy your sun.

Yes I model so there's a slight detachment between my personal life and my public image, it kind of seems to blend at times so that's weird getting used to

I have Mars, Saturn, Pluto (and Pallas) in Libra 10th house, all conjunct midheaven. My rising sign is Capricorn (the sign ruled by Saturn).

I thought it could be a career related thing?

When I was a kid I wanted to be an artist, designer, archaeologist, writer, psychologist, paranormal researcher (lol).

In reality, I have been in the fine jewelry business since I graduated.

I quit (fed up) and I want to change my path (pluto is blasting?) but in total confusion now as where to go next...

How did you come up with assassin?

It was a joke. I might be quite good at secretly tracking people down and finding out their weaknesses, but I'd never be able to do it, because I'd feel bad.

I like thinking about good workable ways of disposing murdered corpse(s) and stuff~ maybe you could count me in as the body dumper when you became an assassin 😆 But um yeas I'm not cruel nor cold blooded.

I have Venus/Midheaven/North Node conjunct in the 10th, but I think my career belies that configuration. Descriptions I've read about the significance don't describe what I do or have done.

Should've also mentioned that this conjunction is in Gemini. From what I've read, this indicates a career in design or writing, neither of which have anything to do with my professional life.
