Money = Power, Happiness, Loyalty and Respect OR Power = Money, Happiness, Loyalty and Respect—

I choose the second, Power is constant and is defined by self not materials, what you do, how and to whom we speak or manipulate, wealth is not always in relation to monetary value.
If anything what is your formula and why—

Just got dragged into a debate at work, seemed like an interesting topic. Just as an entertainment value not as a belief system. So I'm not trying to sound or be a dip shit.

I'm not sure what power has to do with any of the stuff you mentioned.

I also don't know if power is constant or defined by self, especially if we use your equation:

"Power = Money, Happiness, Loyalty and Respect"

Loyalty and respect are very much determined by others. Someone else chooses to be committed and loyal to you. As well, you may do things you find respectable, but ultimately respect is given by the onlookers watching your actions. They choose to show respect, or not. Sure one can have respect for self, but I don't think that is what you mean.

I know, I know??_its not as glamorous as Money and POWA. But those things will get you through a good life.

I agree and yes I believe that's how things should be deep down. But the underlying detail is that it's a materialist and selfish world, of which is petty, and the values that you spoke of are very rare to actually come by.
The sense of people ALWAYS wanting power would say, Money = Power in our Materialistic world. So how does power fit into this world regarding what is.

I say power is defined by self of in the way that you obtain it, for instance power isn't created through petty dealings of someone weaker than you.
You can have the power to gain loyalty form others as in how you can portray your power to assist, relate and help others - or to appeal in an Notorious way. Respect, gaining and losing, is in the way you handle your self humbly or crude from an obtained power.

I think power does fluctuate and shifts all the time. As you obtained said loyalty and respect you were not in a position of "power". It wasn't until you obtained it--even based on your definition--that you had it. "to gain loyalty" indicates that you were without (or even lacked it if you are basing it on the response of others) and someone else had it and it shifted to you.

I am not speaking of monetary things, but even using your examples, power still isn't constant.

I understand what you're trying to convey. You're referring to the choices we make and how we choose to carry ourselves. I get it. As I stated, I am overthinking it. I do this sometimes.

Yea, I think that you are kind of over thinking it. What I'm driving at is that the basics of a Scorpio of that we are "powerful" and that we obtain "power". I never really gave it a second thought until I heard this debate. So I posted this to gain a general aspect of what power are we being previewed to?

Power is many different things, I just wanted to know if you do believe in us Scorpios having power what kind do you believe that you have and why do you think or believe in it.
I'm just not superficial that's why I can never believe in a materialistic item creating a "power".
I think actions, good friends and people, education, doing anything your passionate about and being a loved by people is power in itself.

Where I disagree is MONEY = Power... and MANY people do believe that.

True Power is what comes from within and the strength of Spirit to follow through ... especially on the worst of days.

I have to change my Avi, he's so cute but I cannot focus. Hmmmmm....I wonder why? Lol 😄
