Well done for having the courage to end it!
That's an awful lot of selfish and unacceptable behaviour. On top of his sadistic sexual behaviour.
Definitely made the right decision.
He is a broken and hurt man. And hurt people HURT people.
Gosh that reads weird. I know it's painful now, but time heals everything. Scorpio men can be selfish and demonic š¢
Yeah well that's part of the process unfortunately.
What's your sign and age?
Hurt people hurt people.
I like that, good description and very accurate.

this has nothing to do with him being a scorpio though. any sign can be a sociopath.i'm mentioning that because there are lots of great scorpio guys out there and they would never do anything like this.
very glad for you that you got away from him though. you should feel proud of yourself.
True.

Sorry guise

Darn! I wrote a long message but it's all gone š¢
Been cutting off replies like that for a couple of days now, that I've noticed. Must be a character limit

Slightly worried that (if true) he's found another woman and he's most probably just looking for another victim. I wonder if his mother has noticed anything about his behaviour.
Probably, when he was a young boy and then dismissed it as many mothers do.
Quite a few parents throughout the ages refuse (or have refused) to believe their 'little soldier or Princess' could do anything wrong or harmful to others.
The worst 1's are those that can see what their child is doing and instead of chastising and correcring the behaviour, they provide excuses for them. Essentially permitting the child to carry on without consequence or responsibility.

I'd rather everyone just assume I'm "selfish and demonic".
I said SORRY!

Im gunna go cry in a corner. NOBODY UNDERSTANDS ME!
I would wonder if those issues he has aren't a direct result of his parents, in particular, his mother. Be happy your good sense kicked in. I agree with Whatu, you should ceremoniously rid yourself of that negativity including cutting cords. Star would know a fair amount about that.
.... and don't worry sadlunar, you're not losing anything special. What you did get rid of was years of abuse. Be Happy! You did good!
What a fuckin' psycho.
Good riddance.
something familiar about scorpios bragging about harming people....saying stuff like they made me do it....this guy is just took it a further.
My father was a Scorpio (Nov 16) he was a Cruel bastard, biggest SOB I have ever known. He served in Vietnam under 1st Marine Division (AKA The old breed), and would talk about his days of killing as if it were something to be fond of. One of my uncles was also a Marine in Vietnam and they would both get together and compare Kill stats.
My uncle, also a Scorpio (not sure what day) would gush about one of his biggest achievements during the war. Mowing down a group of VC (VietCong) with his Machine gun during a Patrol, most of them shot in the back and he loved every moment of it. Seemed to get off when one begged for his life while critically wounded, Father and uncle would laugh about that then both say "Fucking Gooks" in unison.
Good Times! *Sarcasm*
He is a marine. I believe based on many conversations about his childhood that becoming a marine allowed him to tap into his violent tendencies without fear of being judged. His days are spent regretting that he left and missing combat. Reading your comments and being away from him I have so much clarity. I would never consider taking him back or being alone with him. It's more than his astrological sign, I've dated Scorpios in the past and there intense and passionate. I see his actions as definitely psychotic and I truly believe he is suffering from PTSD however his pride would never allow him to think he has mental health issue. His fascination with killing with his hands and knives. He has good qualities and we had wonderful moments together but these issues were always right under the surface and the last six months he really started to let his guard down.
In all fairness just cause he's a Marine doesn't mean he's Psychotic, however Marines are trained to Kill and by the end of Basic training they will know how to do it well. Marines are a unique breed, and unlike the other branches of the United States Military, many join but few will actually be accepted.
Also I suspect his regrets of missing Combat is less to do with no longer being able to kill indiscriminately and more to do with letting his Comrades down. Marines are tight knit, it's instilled from day one that they will not give up willingly and that they will be there for each other until the mission is over or they die. After all, Marines are first in and last out.
Plus factor in the troubles associated with re-adjusting to civilian life and suddenly realizing that you have come back to a country that more or less didn't care for you and certainly didn't miss you while you were away. This is why most Marines go back for additional Tours and stay in the Military, if they can.
AnomalousBull I didn't mean to sound as though I equate his behaviors with all marines. What I observed and learned during our relationship is that his thought process was very flawed and he was often easily angered and filled with rage before he joined the marines. He is neurotic, with OCD and few friends. As a active marine he described himself as an outsider who never got along with the other marines. He very clearly would state that he missed combat and wished he could hurt people but he knows this is wrong and he does not act on his impulse. He is a complicated man that I loved.

Yeah, you did the right thing.
How could it have got any better?
Answer: it wouldn't have.
