Scorpio Sun Libra moon question

So most of my best friends are Scorpio Suns, they don't typically have bouts of depression but it seems the ones that do are the ones with Libra moon. Which kind of throws me off bc I would think that the air moon would help. My other friends usually only have issues when they are extremely overwhelmed but it's not the depression like I see with the Libra moon ones. Why?? Anyone with a Scorpio Sun, Libra moon understand or relate to this?

Dont know if this helps but here is my exposure to the only scorp sun/libra moon I knew.

I worked with a scorp sun libra moon briefly and from what I've seen of him he was crazy suspicious of everyone. I suspect the libra moon softness along with the scorp sensitivity has opened him up to some hurt. This person was not of the eagle stereotype that soars along with others, he believed his only way of success was to make everyone else fail. Alternatively I knew a pisces sun libra moon who was super super soft and really was just the nicest guy in the world. His way of dealing with hurt was to just be nicer and whine, a lot.
